Here's another thing that bugs me. When the martyred are under the altar asking How long? I asked where the alter is and the teacher said, it's on Earth, it's just symbolic. I don't think so. Not taught by Greek scholars. I clearly give him the, I doubt it, look.

I simply tell my pastor or teacher that I disagree and when I get evidence, I go back and tell them again. Like the bow carried by the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6. I said, no one teaches that this is Jesus. My teacher explained that he carries the same bow that Jesus has in Rev 4. I said that he is the deceiver who brings in false religion, so I looked it up and it is toxon in Greek meaning cheap imitation simple cloth bow. So I have to go back and tell them. Then I was looking on KZbin 3abn and someone commented that Ellen White said that the 144,000 are literal and they are teaching that it is symbolic. That is always what they say, it is annoying. But I'm going back and telling. I remember the old guys talking about Desmond Ford. Did you get kicked out of the church?

Greetings Dr. Ford, 1844 was not a meaningless mistake. Investigative judgement was a way of understanding key texts, Daniel 8:14, and then Leviticus 16:5. In my opinion we need to propose a "new light" understanding of these key texts. Please consider the following proposals: Daniel 8:14 to read: "...Shabbat will return to the Law of the Sanctuary", with the "Sanctuary" to mean the Christian Church, this interpretation can easily be established from the Gospel, Paul, etc, and from Hebrew wording. This would point to our mission of reforming the Law within the multi denominational Christian Church, back to the Biblical Decalogue. Leviticus 16:5 could be reformulated to signify: "two kids of the goats" as Esau/Christians, Jakob/Jews, and the "ram" as Isaac/Jesus, this has the support of Ellen White in her "Unusual Statement on the Scapegoat", and from Hebrew wording. This would enable reconciliation between Christians and Jews. Yes, Investigative Judgement etc. needs to be relegated to the same historical shelf as the preaching of William Miller., but we need to propose constructive Biblical alternative. Be happy to provide proofs for above.

But this does not have to be in 1844. This is the problem with setting dates and then making excuses. You got all that from Lev 16:5? Well it is your right and mine to throw out the date and wait and see. Peace and love, brother.
