I attempted suicide 3 years ago. I jumped off my fourth floor balcony so I resonate so much with this! I was in a coma for two months, and I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and breathe. I thank God for saving me, restoring me, and giving me the support that I needed 3 years ago. I too felt unheard and unseen. Thank you Jesus, and to God he the glory.

Depending on where you are, there may be opportunity at some churches. There may be also opportunity to give money to certain causes focused on children. I know a man in Honduras who, as a missionary, works mainly as an adoption center and teacher.

Honestly thank you so much for saying that just because you commit suicide doesn’t mean you go to hell automatically. My dad committed suicide in 2018 after a really long battle with his demons. He believed in God and Jesus but really struggled to ever feel like God could actually love him or Jesus could forgive him for the things he did wrong. I always wonder if He got to meet Jesus or if he was damned for it and I’m really hopeful that He cried out to Jesus before he left and that God has showed mercy on him because I truly believe he struggled enough on earth and desperately needed rest and love and mercy and honestly I don’t think God is so evil that he would take a person who was tormented by demons to the point of suicide and then smite them to hell because they were tormented.

Saul was tormented. Saul went to hell. Saul did evil. Saul payed for the evil he did. I don't say this to be hard hearted. My own dad has died, due to alcohol abuse. And apart from crying out to God and believing in his Son, he has no hope of going to heaven. But if he doesn't get to heaven, do I hate God because he didn't let my dad in heaven? What about me loving him for what he's done? If I don't get everything I want from God is HE wrong? Let us always be careful about what we think of God's righteousness. The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. Psalm 145:17

Thank you so much for this video I do have one question about suicide bc it says in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 ESV Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. Does that apply to those who destroy their own body?

The Holy Spirit didn't enter the disciples until after the resurrection but yes Judas I'm sure didn't have his full focus on Jesus as his savior yet. I think only after he truly realized the sacrifice did he feel the guilt

If you have Jesus in your heart there is no room for Satan to enter in but it’s never okay to tell someone who doesn’t know this that they are going to hell is what I’ve perceived from this. I think that if you have these thoughts just because people have made you feel worthless not because you betrayed Jesus. That’s a different ball game. We don’t really know what it truly is so the best thing to do is lead them into a posture where they are seeking spirituality, getting to know Jesus by being in his word and through prayer. Where God’s presence is these things just begin to fall away. Which is the grace God has given to us.

So I used to have the same belief until I had a conversation with my mother. She told me that there is only one unforgivable sin (not accepting Jesus as your savior) and once you accept him, no sin is big enough to separate you. The question isn't whether you can repent and mend the bond, it's whether Jesus can have a child taken away from him due to their sin. I personally believe that nothing can separate you from Jesus once you truly submit your life because it's impossible for God to lose one of his children. BUT I do realize that different denominations have different beliefs. I do agree that killing yourself is a sin (because killing is a sin) but I also believe that Jesus can't lose one of his children because of a sin they committed and weren't able to repent for. Sorry it's a lot

​@@yourmother--thank God for your comment. As far as committing suicide goes, it's in the air. Someone who commits suicide isn't doing anything worse than someone who kills. If King David had died after he killed Uriah, would he have gone to hell? Absolutely not. Why? Because God said what he said to David, and he will never ever go back on his word. But let us always remember that irrespective of whether or not they go to heaven or hell, the Lord is still good.

I've followed your podcasts from episode one and I love it. However, I won't pass this video by without saying that Suicide is indeed a sin. God gives life and only Him gets to decide when to call us home. Do not kill applies to everyone including our own selves.
