I was so upset because his life finally started to get better and then all of a sudden they made him get raped in a school bathroom by bunch of football players. I was mad about this season already because they kind of made Hannah seem less sincere and Clay like crazy and Cheri became a whole different person. Bryce and basically the whole football team became this serial rapists and the school basically enabled them. This show went from realistic mistakes people could actually make to Hollywood crap.

I wish I could unseen the Tyler scene, yes it makes sense for the plot line and 'spreading awareness' but no warning could have prepared me for that and I genuinely feel traumatised from watching it. They're just dragging this story line out (Bryce and Monty didnt get repercussions for their actions which basically diminishes the point of the season) for season 3 but I'm not sure if I even want to watch it if they renew the series.

Eventhough i've never experienced assault, I was bawlig my eyes out in that part with Tyler. I know it's a tv series, but I couldn't help thinking how could someone be so horrific as to do that. It was brutal and had me shaking, like there was actual blood and the fact that Montgomery's a high school kid. I'm so mad at his character like why does he always take things too far, this is bullying on another level.

I'm pretty desensitized to stuff like that, I watch a lot of SVU and that's basically every other episode so it's not a surprise anymore (in some related series/scenes), but that took me by surprise so much I'm cringing just thinking about it. Poor Tyler, that was so unneeded and awful, I thought he was just going to be threatened or beaten, NOT FLIPPIN R*PED. This season was a lot more than I expected.

Episode 6 is the BEST episode in the season and I’m glad we all stan Zach!! His opinion of Hannah never changed even through all the rumors which is why Clay would have NEVER deserved her! When everything started coming out you could see Clay’s take on her change and Zach never swayed. Also Tyler deserved better he changed so much and they just had to ruin his life 😤

So the sudden change that Chloe did, (looking at Bryce and then said she gave him consent even though she was raped) she found out she was pregnant and decided that she didn't want the father or her child in jail for rape which is why she said she didn't know what to do. Also Zach was the best character this season, man his cute and fluffy side really shows as well as how Hannahs suicide really affected him

I also think Chloe's decision was based on fear. If she speaks the truth, then she will be asked to face up to the fact that she is a statistic, a victim, and she knows Bryce would walk away with a slap on the wrist. Nobody wants to believe they are a victim. If she did know she's pregnant at that moment, his parents wouldn't want anything to do with her or the baby if she pointed fingers. I'm guessing the current political climate had made getting an abortion a little trickier to obtain. The name of the game is survival. If that means sticking your head in the sand, so be it. If there were a season 3 I want Bryce's parents to take Chloe in and make him drop out and get a job... they may be rich but Bryce isn't. How satisfying would it be to see him pulling shifts at wally world?

I agree with almost everything that you said except about Justin’s struggle with drugs. I loved how realistic it was. It is so hard to break away from drug use. Even when you have the best of intentions and you want to get better but it’s for other people. It will never happen. In the season he wants to get clean go Jessica and more or less for Clay and his parents. Multiple times he it so close to giving up but one of them pulls him back in. That will only work up until a certain point. You have to truly want to get better because you believe that you deserve better for yourself. Even though I would love for his character to get clean I think the writers did a good job of portraying a realistic struggle with addiction.

-I love that you are basically a 15 year old girl in some videos (ie. High School Musical 1-3) and ur really funny and smart but also understand where the line is and how not to cross it -Sherri and Tony are honestly so underrated. -Zach is one of my favourite characters in this whole show and I ship him and Hannah so hard. -I agree with you about Mr. Porter. When the first season ended there were a lot of people saying that it was completely his fault and he was basically the devil. He understands that he needs to be better and that he fucked up but that doesn’t change what happened, he can only use that to move forward and I think it was a good idea for him to start fresh at a new school -With the blonde girl who changed her story I think it was unfair of them to ask her to testify against her rapist who she cares about (kind of?) when she just learnt that she was raped although Jessica couldn’t do it (not that she should feel pressured to, it’s her story). -Also thank you for not showing that scene in the last episode bc I was literally traumatized for weeks afterwards.

Yay! Another video! I’ve been waiting for this reaction since the show came out and you didn’t disappoint! I’m so happy with the Zach and Hannah history (agreed, they are ADORABLE!) and I love that he was trying to take Bryce down from the inside. Montgomery can choke. Evil bastard. The scene in the bathroom legit made me burst into tears and it still haunts me. I was expecting the shooting to go ahead though, especially since the courts found the school not guilty. For there to then be a shooting triggered (punny) by bullying within school grounds, irony! But I guess if Montgomery had gone out that way, we’d had celebrated it and like you said in the video, that’s not the right way. X

i have no idea how you got through this season so smoothly. it took me a month to get through it just because it was so emotional and heavy. specifically with jessica’s rape and the sexual assault issues. it hit home and i just struggled with it

Tbh I don’t think there should be a season 3. Like all questions were answered accept weather clay goes to jail for the gun or not. But after the funeral, trial, Ms.Baker moving, Jessica going to court and ending things. Maybe some people will be interested in Montgomery and Tyler’s plot lines but I’m not so I just feel like season 3 won’t be good.

The thing with Bryce is, that's a reality. The show created tries to keep things real so I believe that is why there was no resolution. There could be in the future but they wanted to portray how the money and power Bryce's family has can have such an impact on his sentencing.
