Funny you mention cost of the detergent. I just went to Walmart an bought unscented arm n hammer detergent and deodorant. Unscented dove soap. Unscented hairitage shampoo and unscented huggies wipes for the upcoming hunting season. Cost less then $30. Walked to the hunting section and to buy the same quantities of detergent deodorant soap shampoo and wipes it was $85. Lol

Thanks Jon, this is exactly what I was looking for. I'm a first-time saddle hunter this year and have been wondering how to wash the new gear. Also, I noticed you place your cameras much higher than I do. I'm usually 5.5' to 6' high.

Hi John, Have you ever used Borax for washing hunting fabric? Crazy how high you put that one camera, no one will be stealing or seeing that one. Great idea.

I’ve used scent free All detergent for years now with some scent killer dryer sheets. Deer look right at me from time to time and as long as you’re still, your face is covered, and your outline is broken up they don’t seem to notice … UV brighteners or not.
