I am so sick of people using their bad childhood as an excuse for their own criminal acts. Lots of severely abused people have grown up to be great parents.

Some are damaged and repeat the abuse. It's all they know and normal for them. That is well documented. The beat goes on until somebody pays the price.

It’s unfortunately true and clinically proven in many cases. It’s like this: 80% of smokers don’t get lung cancer but 80% of lung cancer sufferers smoke. Regardless of her sad soppy stories there was no proof of her mental illness. She has none. But her elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top, that’s clear. How did nobody notice all her life???

True. Sadly, everyone responds differently to abuse. I’m just glad she will never be free. Timothy did win. He’s with Jesus now. Free of any pain, or fear. Nothing but love and light surrounds him. That much, I am absolutely certain. Fly high angel baby.

Exactly right. As a psychiatric & substance abuse nurse in the community health care system, I can atest to the numerous people who, determined to give their children a better home than they had, having been abused, instead sought therapy, support groups (& often God) to learn how to be good parents. Evil behavior is a CHOICE, as I've seen in my 35+ years, over & over.

So sick of hearing how she worked for the courthouse... She's a evil murderer. Nobody cares what she did for a living
@jennys2543
@jennys2543 9 ай бұрын
evil murder is evil murder and there's no greater sentence she could have received in a state without capital punishment, but I do find what she did for a living highly relevant. defense argues negligence & lack of understanding to fight these charges. To learn she was a functioning member of society, above average intelligence & had a deeper understanding of the law than the average individual, just totally contradicts the defense's argument and further adds to what a deranged person she is. All that knowledge she learned to become a lawyer, she used to manipulate the system until circumstances caused a massive slip in the facade she built up and police were forced to investigate. This wasn't some average person that might not know the nuances of our legal system & the punishments she could have received for her actions. As a licensed lawyer, she knew very well about possible defenses & what could have happened to her if people found out how she was treating Timothy.

Yes. I was stunned when I learned Ted Bundy studied law and worked for the police a short time. He said on tape that's how he learned how to beat the system for awhile.. And he went to church to make a "good public impression" that he used later in the trials.. When I watched Shondas video (camera footage of the police officer that talked to her after finding the body) she plays such a dramatic role and all of it was a lie. Even there, between her fake sobbing, she was talking bad about her deceased son.. Those types are cold blooded and highly manipulative.

We lost our Autistic son in April of 2000. I cried through most of this testimony hearing what abuse Timothy had to endure. What a tragedy for a child that didn’t process information as normal to be treated like she imposed on him. She is a monster and should not see the light of day. She deserves the harshest punishment available. Our son was such a blessing from God and brought so much joy to our lives. He's so much better at it than I am. Her life and heart could have been so beautiful if she had allowed herself to love him. He deserved so much more than her. I just read your comment and I’m so sorry what has happened to you as a little girl. I was thinking as I read your comment how you must feel about the Gypsy Rose case? I only ask because I myself had a horrific childhood. I couldn’t do anything about the abuse till one day when I turned 16 and left home and never returned or spoke to my mother even again after all these years. She’s still alive in her 80s and I’m now 59 years old. I understand why we’re asked to forgive our abuses, it’s to allow us to move on in life and not allow that person to take up space in our brain, body or soul. I don’t believe that saying is true at all. After leaving home, I never looked back or even thought about her again and still after all these years the only thing that comes to mind about my mother is when I hear stories like Gypsy rose and her fake reasonings for killing her mother. I get so upset when I see people that believe her story because they watched a lifetime movie. Maybe if people dug deep into the facts of who the Real Gypsy is they to would understand why she truly belongs in prison for life. They also she realize who’s “Ruby Rose Blanchard” She like Nick had Ulta eagles and Gypsy would become Ruby and not Gypsy. stated in the videos when she was all dressed up, licking the knife that killed her mother. So basically, what I can’t wrap my head around is how there’s so many more worse case of child neglect and abuse out there but these other people didn’t kill their parents or abuser. In the video with Gypsy and her mother I see a woman who over loved that girl. I myself have never experienced that kind of love. I understand things are different behind closed doors because that was my life but it wasn’t that bad. She was able to walk about that house and do what she wanted. The only one thing she was prohibited from doing was going out into the public without her wheelchair. I believe the only fear Dede had was for Gypsy to release the truth. I’m sure most of the fighting that happened in that home was about gypsy, threatening her mother that she’s going to go public with the truth. Gypsy Rose Blanchard is a fake, fraud and will continue with her bad behavior. The only people that Failed Gypsy was the court system. They should’ve ordered that after she completed her prison term that she’s to go straight into a long term mental health treatment! For two years or longer. It will not shock me when and if she has a child or two that she will continue to do anything to get attention, that is her biggest downfall she has had attention from the moment she was a little girl all the way up to the moment she get out of prison.

@@BostonBitch333I know this comment isn't intended for me and I agree with most of what you have to say, except for this. DeeDee didn't just put her in a wheelchair for public sympathy. She gave her medication that was not needed, put her through numerous unnecessary painful surgeries. That is abuse. DeeDee abused her daughter. DeeDee was a scammer and a manipulator. That being said though, no one has the right to take another's life. I think a lot of people failed in this situation though. It's a shame it had to go so far. Gypsy definitely needs mental health care. I agree she should be mandated by the courts to have that. Normal people don't kill or plan or manipulate others to kill. I believe she herself is a manipulator because she learned from the best. This whole situation is a mess. I bet if this story wasn't in the limelight she'd still be in jail.

Dee Dee was most definitely not this over loving parent you have made her out to be. I agree with above comment, she abused her daughter in a way to benefit her, attention, etc etc. I can’t say I feel sorry for her. This woman will go down in history as one of the most malicious and evil monster to ever walk the earth and to think how many more children are living like this and counting down their days out there… truly breaks my heart. I wish we can save each and every one of them. I can’t stop thinking about Timothy and the horror he went through the last year or half of year of his short life. He didn’t deserve this, that Monster did not deserve his love and to be called ‘mom’. I have a 12 year old son who is a pre-teen becoming a teenager and he is starting to eat more as he goes through his growth spurts, I can never imagine not giving him the proper food and nutrition that he needs to nourish his growing body. We will never forget Timothy, may he rest well and fly free. He is now in a better place and out of reach of evil.

I think about this at night. How many abused children are hidden and trapped inside houses or apartments that look normal on the😮 outside. In today's age, when politicians are trying anything and everything, even attempting to pass the most ridiculous bills, to try to gain votes. But not one has taken on the rampant child abuse in this country. I believe it is because some parts of our government believes children are property of their parents and the parents can do anything they want with that property. 😢

The judge, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Robert’s all handled themselves with integrity and grace and I think they should all be commended for their professionalism. That murderer on the other hand is the worst excuse for a human being possible. Knowing she will be able to live her life with a “punishment” that is so much more humane than what she inflicted upon Timothy is inscrutable and absolutely unfair. She should spend her life eating bread with the same hot sauce she forced Timothy to eat. She should be forced into ice baths on a daily basis, dragged from place to place, not allowed to ever be in a comfortable position, timed on the toilet, and sleeping on a tarp in her cell and not the mattress she will be given. That’s the only way justice would be served. Everyone in Timothy’s life and family should be ashamed of themselves. Not one person ever demanded to see him or even speak to him on the phone. I do not want to even think about what went through that child’s mind. Did he think everyone he ever loved was in on this? Did he think he was sent to his mother because they knew this what was going to happen to him? We will never know. I just hope Timothy is finally able to rest.

I learned about this case 6 days ago. I’ve lost 10 lbs and haven’t slept more than 10 hours in those 6 days. This has wrecked my soul. I am so heartbroken. I watch crime documentaries and such often. This is easily the most affected I’ve felt over a murder trial. For many reasons I’m sure. The point in saying all of this, I’m not a mom. And I’m 36 and have never been married. You don’t have to be a mom to feel devastation in regards to the death of an innocent child.

I have a grandchild whose mother was like her until the child started getting older, and she can now no longer abuse her without consequences from the child. But the child is now being groomed and has been hurt and groomed all of her life to have a mental view unlike no other. I have no idea to the fullest extent as to what the grand daughter has gone through. I still wonder every day if the mother will try to sell her to the highest bidder if she ever gets the chance. But she has the child licking out of her hand on the other side of the coin. How do they do this to their children? And the State Advacates are a joke!!!! We reported from birth to 12 years. The caseworkers were swamped by the mother and her sister to say my son and I were trying to take the child from her. That I wanted to have the child. The young, gay, impressionable, caseworker closed the case before it was opened. Said he went to the school to interview when he did not.

"She made one decision she shouldnt have made" uh no, lots of people work full time and go to school and take care of their families without torturing their child. Each act of abuse and neglect was a choice over and over and over. If she "did what moms do," that boy would still be alive and would not have been abused. She did not care.

I used to think all EMTS and medics were like this, I remember a ride in an ambulance at a very young age after a scary accident and I was treated with such tender thoughtful care! However in 2018 during a mental health crisis a local medic got mad and gave me a huge dose of ketamine that flatlined me twice and put me in icu, then I'm 2021 I had an encounter with him during a health emergency and he tried to do it again, thankfully lots of body cams and my clear loud declaration that I am allergic to it made him stop. He's still working here, I was afraid to call last month when my 4 year old was having a medical emergency, it seemed like more risk than benefit...which is crazy right??
