Winning a 14-14 is the best feeling in the world, Losing one is the worst feeling in the world.

Kleibrink vs Race and vs Meinhardt - it's same day, St.Petersburg foil tournament (World Cup series)? I was there and as I recollect Kleibrink was on fire, also eliminated at least Safin.

I was so excited watching that day! Kleibrink is my fav. Just included the bout you recommended in a new 14 - 14 video 😄

You should see the Luperi vs Arslanov. This had it all, the highs, the drama and the awesome reffing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5qVgWZoi7Oinbc

Wow, Tourette got a lot of touches on foconi
@OlympicFoil3 жыл бұрын
Impressively close bout, if Tourette had won it would probably have been a "shocking upset" video on the channel. Interested to see if Tourette becomes the next USA team member since Meinhardt says he'll retire after Tokyo

What is it about the American fencers not being good in these situations?
@OlympicFoil4 жыл бұрын
It's quite strange, I didn't even do it on purpose or anything, these are random 14 - 14 bouts!

Can someone explain why the ref was screaming about intentional yellow cards at 1:02?
@Nick-he4qj2 жыл бұрын
Not exactly sure what he means by intentional yellow, where was the card?
@OlympicFoil2 жыл бұрын
@@Nick-he4qj So there's a rule that if you leave the strip intentionally to avoid getting hit you get a yellow card. Kleibrink steps off the piste with his back leg, clearly by accident, which just means they move back and reset. Imboden's coach thought he'd try his luck to get Kleibrink carded and says "ohh yellow!" and the ref yells at him in annoyance that it's clearly not intentional. Hard to hear it due to the noisy audio

@@OlympicFoil ah makes sense I knew about that rule but I assumed it was the red saying intention yellow hence the confusion. Thank you for clearing it up. Btw love your channel!
