Hi Harley Dave! Is there a way to do a video that details what you did to your current slipon configuration? I think you using a 4.5" Bam Stick with the Zombie baffle and then you also slipped in some V&H Twin Slash Cut baffles somehow and then you also have a torque ring insert of sorts as well. I could be wrong on some of that, but I was just wondering if you can list part numbers of the twin slash baffles and torque rings and describe or even show how things fit inside your bam stick.

Hello. Not understanding your question. The handlebars don't come prewired so maybe it's just the order of conversation and pictures that confused you? Thanks for watching!
@wb45143 жыл бұрын
@@harleydave2316 At 1:31/1:32 does it not show a picture of the bars (that I assume you were installing)? They appear to be pre-wired. At 1:48 your comment was how running the wire through the bars was a little difficult, maybe the photo shows the bars after you wired them ?

I just changed mine and the connector for the throttle got stuck. Ended up having to cut the bars to get them out and had to buy a new throttle cable since I broke that too...Funny running the wires to me too 10 minutes. I cut the factory insulation off (a tech recommended) and wrapped them in e-tape to make it thinner. I just soaped up the wires and they came through easy. Now the problem for me was the local dealer didn't know that the special has "special" wiring and sold me the wrong extended cables, and somehow I lost front blinkers, even though the running light works.

Are those just 10” wire extensions?
@Steve-qn8gn Жыл бұрын
I bought 10" extensions for my '21 road king special, it was over kill, 4" would have been enough. I also had to extend the clutch cable with a fat baggers 4" clutch cable extender. Thats for '21 and up, the previous years didn't need extension up to 14" from what I understand.

did you have to buy extended brake lines, clutch cables, and throttle cables? or did the stock cable lengths work?

It looks like im about a 1/8 inch or so out from where the controls should be sitting. The left side is perfect. It almost seems the grip isnt going all the way on. Are they supposed to click in or as long as they are catching the fly by wire its ok? Not sure what im doing wrong. I took it off twice now and im still 1/8 inch off.
