14 Months Dye-Free (Grey Hair Transition)

Not thinking about your hair a lot is so relieving, omg lol. I’ve found this community of women going gray when I decided to grew out my natural hair color after henna, and I’m so glad I found it! I’m not gray yet but I love how gray looks and it’s nice to know women don’t obsessively hide their gray roots anymore! And when I find gray hair on my head, I won’t have to dye it so no one would notice God forbid haha. But yeah, I lightened my hair as much as I could after henna and it’s still ginger, and now, after two months of not dying it with henna, I see that my roots don’t stand out that much, the color blends in more or less and that’s when I’ve finally stopped thinking about my hair that much! There’s so much space in my head now I can’t remember what I used to do with it before I was obsessed with my hair lol So excited about your next haircut! You’re so patient! 👏🏼

I'm thinking about going grey and found your channel. Yesterday I got baby lights to try to blend it. I'm 36 and figured I'd stop dying it at 40, but maybe sooner if it looks nice like yours ☺️

I stopped coloring at 36 too! :) I always thought that it's too "early", but in fact there is no right time to do it. You can do it anytime you want. :)

Looks beautiful, I’m at my 6 month mark and really like the light silver that is growing in. Going for a haircut next weekend , first one since I stopped coloring. I think I will get one similar to yours 🌸

NICE! I just started transitioning in February cuz my hair is hella damaged and I want to just leave it alone for at least a year. I just cut it to shoulder length from armpit length and that was hard!! The silver contrast against my light auburn and dark brown looks wild. I feel like a hyena tbh lol.. Overall this transition feels like the biggest lesson in patience but the results on others such as yourself looks worthwhile! Thanks for the inspo!
