14 nights Caribbean cruise aboard P&O Arvia

So this was going to be our first ever visit to the Caribbean and also our first time on board Arvia . As it turned out Arvia was more or less exactly the same as Iona .This video covers our flight from London Gatwick to Barbados where we boarded the ship . Also our first night on board and our visit to Green and co the Vegan restaurant .
Also it shows our first sea day and a look around the ship , and our first meal in the main dining room .
This is the first of a few covering this cruise , we hope you enjoy them .

Brilliant vlog as always, we are off to caribbean on Saturday, same airport ,plane and ship, so very interesting. ours is bringing the ship back to Southampton, which is great as means only one flight. Caribbean or Mediterranean decisions decisions 😀 .It was our first time to the Caribbean and it was great to go in our winter so we could get some sun and warmth. Obviously if it’s our summer then the weather won’t be great in the Caribbean. We are going back next January this time on Britannia. We went on the 17th February to the 2nd March . I have never been anywhere with so many coat hangers even Pearl couldn’t use them all , she had a good try though. It could only be Pearl who thought that the postman was attacked by a dolphin 😂😂 . Good Morning Amanda, hope you are well. Yes we usually do a bit of filming as we go over the bridge. It’s become a bit of a tradition now . We don’t normally whinge that often but sometimes you just have to say it 🤬 . It’s really not difficult to pick your chair or table up instead of dragging it 😡. We agree totally with James about being quiet as you go back to your cabin after an evening out .Blimey I’m doing a lot of whinging here 😂 proper old fart 😂. Hi Paul , I have looked through all my emails for some information concerning the seat numbers.All I can tell you is that I booked extra leg room seats at a price of £45 per person each way . So a total of £180 . Our flight from Gatwick was on a TUI Dreamliner and our seats were near to the toilets in the middle of the plane . Our plane was changed for the flight home to a Norse flight but we still kept our extra leg room seats ( row 10 ) Hope this helps a bit . Thank you very much for watching. 👋

Looks like there was plenty of room, until on the pool deck...Hot there. We are just having a week of 35c plus🥵🥵...Have fun, well you are home by now... You tell it how it is...good stuff...🤓 Not so silly Pearl ......Dolphins are often perceived as smiling, cute marine creatures that won’t hurt a fly. But like many other large mammals, if they attack they can badly hurt humans....Maybe not on the front yard though...😂

I love watching your content I had a bad experience with TUI so wouldn't fly with them again what happened was there any offered as chicken and rice for dinner and that's it but I'm allergic to chicken so I couldn't anything for 9 hour but I was happily visit Barbados again just not with TUI I did the transatlantic cruise from Barbados to Southampton on Britannia last year

I would love an honest opinion of the Restaurant Food there. I thought it was 6/10, presentation mainly. Quality has dropped significantly as profits come first sadly.

Afternoon Tim , I have to say that out of the 4 cruise lines that we have sailed on , P&O , Royal Caribbean , Princess , Cunard , P&O would rank bottom . That's not to say that the food is bad , its just not up to the quality of the others in our opinion .We have spoke to people onboard P&O ships and they have said the food is awful ,we would have to disagree with that statement . But we have spoke to passengers who have sailed with P&O for a number of years and they have said they can really notice the changes as more and more cutbacks are made.
