P&O Arvia Caribbean cruise part 3... Pearl misbehaves

So this was meant to be a sea day but because of a medical emergency the ship had to dock in La romana a day earlier .What we could see of the port area it looked very impressive . So we were looking forward to using the facilities the following day .
We had lunch in the 6th street diner restaurant , this is an American themed restaurant , with the staff dressed in the appropriate gear ,the walls ordained with some themed artwork .and even a jukebox .
We spent the afternoon using one of the pools , as it was quieter because people had gone ashore .
That evening was our first Gala night , and it gave people the chance to put on there glad rags and look their best . We also enjoyed the glass of complimentary Fizz with our dinner.

So made me laugh Pearl telling you off saying, Get your scarf, you are fired !!! I noticed a long time ago that the apprentice always made the ones out wear a scarf, even in the summer. Every time I mentioned this, no one else seemed to have noticed. Until Pearl ... Hooray xx great vlog as always.

Well the power of You Tube has worked, we watched this in bed this morning and decided we couldn't wait till our next cruise in September so we just booked a last minute one on the Arvia at the end of April :-) Watching your Vlog and seeing your happy joyful faces brought all our recent memories flooding back. Hello Rene , glad you are all fine , likewise here . Very grey and dull at the moment but at least it’s staying lighter for longer . Happy Easter to you all as well. We will see the grandchildren and ply them with a bit of chocolate no doubt. Food onboard was a lot better they do work very hard . La romana port was very nice with the swimming pool and sun beds free to use . I knew I would be on a loser about Pearl 😂 I should learn to choose my battles 😂. Evening is Pearls favourite part of any cruise especially Gala nights . She is like a Magpie, loves anything that glitters.Glad you liked the suit Amanda, a cruise and funerals are the only time they appear I think.Seems to happen a lot with people becoming ill onboard. When we were on Iona before we had a passenger airlifted by helicopter. Yes we have a few cruises booked this year , a couple of them are only short ones . We are off on Azura very soon, so the Blue suit will be making another appearance 😂😎. It would have been lovely to meet you as well, you sound right up our street. We never found out how the medical emergency went. How awful for those poor people. Yes it was all done in good faith as you say , although she was a bit demanding that day .
