Using a clarifying shampoo would be better to loosen all build up

@@naturalnikki8675yea so you can really use any clarifying shampoo for depending on the hair type I personally use design essentials with avocado oil and add a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar when the hair is just taken down. You don’t wet the hair do this when it is fresh out braids and apply to each row as such along with messaging it thru the hair and using and medium detangle comb once build up has Dissolved . I’m telling as a 4c hair type it’s a life saver and helps with length retention so much
