14-year-old arrested for having 9mm 'ghost gun' with 40-round magazine

The Racine Police Department took a 14-year-old into custody after officers discovered he was in possession of a "ghost gun."
Officials said the teen had a 9mm pistol, but it was not a normal pistol. According to Racine police, the gun included a full auto-selector switch and a 40-round magazine.
"Ghost guns do not have serial numbers and are untraceable firearms that are typically assembled at home from kits bought online," Racine police said in a post on Facebook.
To emphasize the seriousness of the situation, Racine police clarified that the 14-year-old was in possession of a fully automatic ghost gun.

it is missing the parts that make it work. in the kit form it is unusable, you need the serialized parts from another gun to complete it.

@@wbnc66 no you don’t you. There’s two main ways you can go about it one you buy a cheap 3d printer and print the lower normally serialized part. Two you buy an 80% lower kit and the the jig to pop a couple holes in it for a complete lower After either step you buy a slide and random hardware and springs for the lower. All can be shipped to your door without any serial numbers or background checks. If you want to do it just know you need some skill otherwise you better getting a fully assembled serialized one from a gun store.
