Proud of you man! Your video came across my KZbin feed months ago, and after learning about your story, I instantly subscribed to follow you and see you prosper. I'm a 43 year old black man that's had a roller coaster of a life that's been mostly up, but the pandemic and all that followed brought me to my lowest. A lot of tears, doubt, and wanting to check myself out later, I got myself to a good point, even when I had nothing and no one around me, despite most of my peers being absolutely in a position to help me, making the loneliness worth it. A lot of us go through so much, and we don't want to bother others so it happens in silence. I'm not convinced yet that the people in my life would have helped me at my lowest, despite what they'd say if they knew what was going on, but I KNOW there are people like that in the world healthy and available enough to truly help those in need. You've got a random unseen and unknown cheerleader in me, who gets some of those feelings you shared, despite them stemming from very different places. You've got this man and I believe many people are rooting for you, and that number will only grow with the positive energy you're putting and sharing to everyone who comes to watch. A bravery and determination I don't even have an ounce of, you're oozing with it, and it's rubbing off! Keep winning! ❤ Edit: I had to update after you mentioned how certain households and cultures handle things differently. Knowing this was unspoken truth to black households immediately. I see and have seen so many people who need help mentally in my family who will die never understanding their minds and issues more out of the stigma we have on the issues. I just old my dad's wife I was dealing with depression a few months ago, and her reaction has been to no longer greet me when I call my dad and she answers. She just hands him the phone in silence when I used to get greeted for 30+ years. A perfect recipe to continue to stay silent and not share, but I am in a place to believe it's just her and her way of dealing with that information, and it in no way represents other people.

I have been here more times than I care to remember but thank God all those failed attempts finally got my attention.
