Klokov nailed it with the emphasis on front squat, it’s a key factor to improving leg drive when getting out the hole in clean and jerk and squat because your body positioning is the same where as back squat your more forward not so upright, went from a 80kg clean and jerk to 100kg by emphasizing more front squat training and it’s help tremendously with getting up from the clean. Wish I could train with Klokov and learn more from this beast in person!

Are u training algone. I am and it's so hard, closest gym for weightlifting is 100 km away, so I have to learn all by myself and i make many mistakes that i try to change but is hard spotting them all without trainer.

great advice w/ the slow squat. i always had problems w/ my squat. I couldn't go down far enough (barely parallel) and also I didn't feel it much in my quads. I lowered my weight and did it slowly and it felt great. this tip is going to motivate my leg day a lot more. also this dude's advice on snatches helped me so well that I'm able to do them now. starting w/ lower weight but building up!

Makes perfect sense. The front squat has WAY MORE carry over effects to the other lifts.

is it true what they say about traps?
@trappychan7 жыл бұрын
No. The lower traps can help both in upwards and downwards rotation due to how it's attached and its synergy with the rhomboids.

Biosquid239 Klokov is a drugfree world champion Weightlifter from Russia. I'm a random girl who happens to have been born with a benis. That makes some people angry at me, for whatever reason. These videos are in the channel because I used to be a powerlifting/weightlifting/strength coach for the 4chan community. I've coached lifters of all levels, from complete beginners, to intermediate lifters, to national champions and world-class medalists. I've also done work and research in biomechanics, strength sciences, and medical care for lifters. I've helped many with diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and longterm rehab/prehab.
