Animals seem to trip some kind of switch in us when they do certain things - it might be called ‘cuteness overload’, and it seems find its way right into our hearts…and we end up giving them whatever it is they’re asking for half the time. But more than just a kitten meowing or a tiny puppy rolling around, these animals are going right for where they know we are weak, and they are ready to melt our hearts! So from the orangutan with a very unusual baby to a courteous little deer, here’s 15 animals who did things and melted everyone’s hearts!

I have epilepsy and my dogs know when I'm going to have a seizure. They alert my parents and then stand guard over me. They also lick my feet prior to a seizure, sometimes up to hours before. Animals are incredible!

@@waladoopa2667 yes, I use it daily and haven't had to go to hospital or have paramedics called on me anymore. My seizures are less violent and I come to quicker but still sleep for ages afterwards. I passed out from liver failure outside in the winter. My brother found me days later because my dog was barking but not visible. I would have died if she hadn't stayed curled up around me. She is now 19.

I just want to remind everyone NOT to remove baby animals from the wild unless you know for a fact that the parents are dead. Usually the parent(s) are just out gathering food or hiding from you. Wild animal babies are difficult to raise and usually die in captivity. Leave them be if you can.

I had a Rottweiler who became a serogate mom for 7 kittens whose mother ran off after 2 weeks of birthing her kittens. I fed the kittens milk but Nakita groomed them every day and they all slept with her. Nakita also rescued a baby lamb who was separated when the lambs were moved to a different pasture. Nakita played with the lamb as she lured the lamb up a hill to where the mom was calling for her baby. Beautiful, loving Nakita.

The bunny rabbit, the green singing parrot, the special ape that was feeding the baby tiger, the brown puppy at the vet !!!! When our Airedale Terrier was a puppy we were babysitting our son's Greyhound who was old and not well over Xmas. After opening their gifts of stuffed animals, our dog gently took her toys to the old dog to share them with him. So sweet!

When I was little I was allergic to cats, dogs, rodents and other "normal" pets. We moved to West Africa when I was 9 and while my brother went out and made lots of friends, I was too shy, so my parents got me a W. African Pygmy goat as a companion. He was an awesome, hilarious, playful and affectionate pet. Unfortunately as he got older he got smellier and smellier (which male goats do) and he had to go live on a farm. I had such fond memories that years later when I'd outgrown my allergies, I named my golden retriever after my goat. "Boley" -anglicized Kpelle word for "goat".

A friend in Australia had a goat, in the city! One day the goat dissappeared. My friend went around the neighborhood asking if anybody had seen her goat. She got many strange looks! Eventually she found "ketchy"

Hi there. It has been 20years since I kissed my two cats of 20 years of age. But one story still sticks in my mind. When Morris was sick and had a hard time eating my other cat 'Vester (Sylvester) would sit approximately two feet away from his bro and let him eat all and as lyas he wanted of the wet food and when he was finished then Bester would come in to eat. This happened every time until he passed. Chester showed such compassion for his brother who was so sick. How come we as humans do the same and show that kind of compassion too. When my Uncle was in his final moments he wanted to see his horse, she was as stubborn as could be but loved him, she knew something was wrong too and made soft, sad noises, neighing, resting her head near him. He would stroke her and tell her not to be sad and he loved her too and thanked her. They were so close he never had to call her, he could just whistle and she knew. They were quite the pair.

I share a home with 10 adult cats and a variety of kittens whom I foster and then find homes for. It is very difficult to let them go, but then I can rescue more. Cuddles(my dog) and I were homeless and sleeping on the sidewalks at night three other guys that stayed with us one of them had COPD one night we are all getting our beds ready for the night. Mike had already laid down. I went to talk to Mike all he could do was just raised his hand so I told cuddles Mike is here she went over to him I'll start licking him after a couple of minutes he sat up the paramedics came and took him to the hospital the next night when he came back I asked him why he sat upright. His reply made me very proud of Cuddles. She had stuck her tongue down his throat which made him sit up and he was able to breathe.

My passion in life is animals, my late Dad told me that animals were far superior to humans for the most part, and never trust anyone who does not like animals,and i have found in my life so far he has been right, and i don't see that changing anytime soon! All these clips were beautiful,but the one i starting crying on was the owl one, i was sure it was going to be a sad ending, thank god for this man, just goes to show, always try if you see an animal you never know what the situation is and what can be done, it made me day that beautiful owl was saved!
