I love your KZbin name! My mother loved baked artichokes dipped in butter! I am going to try your recipe! I have jarred artichoke hearts and want to figure out a salad to put them in. I’m now a new subscriber as I loved your message at the end as well! I have advanced fatty liver disease and must drastically change the way I eat and will be following you!!! God bless you!

I am interested in fermented foods, i know that it reduces carbohydrates or sugars, and the nutrients are made more bioavailable. But what I want to know is why don't we fernent all our fruits, vegetables, grains, seeds and legumes?

Steam cooked it in instant pot with garlic inserts. Flavour subtle but not repulsive. I am not a veggie lover but it was a good learning experience. I am am probably on your hubbie's side. It was useful as an ice breaker for having conversations in the store and walking home with it.

Thank you for all the information about the nutrition in this delicious veggie but you forgot to mention about the choke. The part in the middle that will really make you choke if you don’t take out before eating. There are plenty of videos that show you how to do it. Steam it with some lemon, salt and olive oil. It’s delicious 😋

@@TheBiblicalNutritionist yes I work in a hospital and last night I must have ran to the bathroom like five or six times with some of the most powerful bowel movements I've had in years because I sucked on the plant extract for about an hour or two when I was walking around I had some of it in my mouth sucking on it for a while drinking plenty of water and what people don't realize is artichokes don't pull water out of your body they force the body to let go of fat so if you have fat in your liver or fat in your stomach it collects the fat and stool together and pushes it out and in my case it was quite violently and lasted most of the night😧😁

You weren’t clear on how to make the tea. You said to peal off the leaves and put “it” (which means 1 leaf) in boiling water. (now it’s cooked) and now it’s not raw! . . ? 1 or 2 leaves made into a tea is not going to have any significant health benefits. “If any”. 😢

You said in your video that ALL vegetables are low glycemic and low carb because EVERYTHING God made is well balanced. There's quite a few vegetables that are NOT low carb or low glycemic. Just saying that what you said was NOT/is NOT accurate or true. Potatoes, for instance, caused my blood sugar to go way up. It caused my blood sugar levels to absolutely skyrocket. That's because potatoes are a very starchy vegetable and they will cause people blood sugar levels to spike. And, then, you crash. Not good for diabetics or just those who care about their blood sugar levels. And, that's just ONE example of a vegetable that causes the blood sugar to soar. There's many other vegetables that are high glycemic, too. It's not just the potatoes. Lots of high glycemic vegetables!!! Just saying!!!
