i fail to understand this problem really. Explain me pls: if u own property in spain and u go on vacations and u come back and there are squatters, i hear u cant get them out. my question is then, cant u just do the same then? Like "squat your own house"? u got the property rights, u call a locksmith, change the locks, put up a couple of big dudes security for aa couple days and what the squatters gonna do? call the police on u? lol. pls explain me how this works in real life. cuz if someone invades my home while am on vacation am pretty much gonna invade it back when am back lol, aka kick them the fuck out.

Number 2 after Florida. Purchase here if you are European and tired of flying to Florida 1. Portugal ✅ is number 3 on my list. 10 year tax free living. Similar rules in Spain. After 'Pandemic' has become a thing only Florida makes sense if you consider to move anyway

It seems you are very well informed and I hope you can help me. I have been looking to invest into Portugal or Florida and to life there. Can you explain why you would choose Florida over Portugal? Dubai, to me, is a NO-GO. They have no history and no own ideas. I think Florida is easier with language, but I think a lot of people in Portugal speak English as well. I live in Germany at the moment and Germany really sucks. France is difficult, not only because of the language. They have a lot of problems.

@@stephaniehummel9771 with an EU passport Portugal is no different. than moving within Germany. From the EU southern countries Portugal is by far the best place for english speakers, while Spain is among the worst. I live in Marbella and no locals here speak english and are also not interested learning it. At all. It doesn't matter though as You can live among expats should you so wish. Spain is a communist /socialist country. Should I move again I would much prefer Florida because it's a conservative state with freedom and zero language barriers. Getting in to Florida long term has become complicated with EU passport but if you are stubborn you will eventually make it.

@@stephaniehummel9771 I invested in Ft. Lauderdale a few years ago.. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT... Flat, no hills, demographics have changed A LOT.. I love Europe. So much more culture... Love Croatia, Italy and Greece.. Great weather and atmosphere... Btw, I sail a lot... Turkey is amazing.! But for me, too different of a culture..

I think - coming from Germany - investing and living in Florida is not as easy as investing in Europe. I had a look into Montenegro as well. Not do crowded as Croatia. I also think a lot of people speak English there as well. I have never been in Greece, but I share your opinion about Turkey. It’s a great place for spending holidays, but to invest and live there is not an option for me, because of the culture

Strangely, Montenegro it's always felt much more crowded than Croatia; there are so many different options! All the small towns in Istria, Zagreb, Opatija, Zadar, Murter, Šibenik, Trogir, Split, Omiš, Brela, Baška Voda, Makarska, Pjelesač, Dubrovnik... and all the Islands. My favourites Korčula, Hvar and Brač... Vidimo se.. Bok

I would choose Portugal or France over Spain any day of the year, and it’s too bad because Spain prior to the socialist government was pretty good. But nowadays God forbid your private property end up invaded by squatters with more rights than owners under stupid Spanish laws… and it will take you years and plenty of money to dislodge them!

Appreciated over the last ten year.particularly in specific areas in each country .If you are an investor that's important.Greece for instance has negative population growth of about 1 % a year . not a good scenario for property appreciation. Countries like New Zealand and Canada have had incredible increases in real estate.Halifax.Nova Scotia has had 40 % increase in the last year or so .West coast of Canada also very good Increases.
