Hey Efren, the sign you saw there was for the San Bol albergue. I stopped here, and it was wonderful. Home cooked food, a lovely outdoor spring-fed pool and a really quiet atmosphere. Thanks again for all your videos.!

Most of the private albergues allow a pilgrim to stay more than one night if possible. It's just the municipals, parochial, donativos that don't. Rest days or half days are great, and yes it allows you to meet new groups of people. Some pilgrims get hung up on having to have a "Camino family", which is cool, but I found that when doing half days etc I end up with 2-3 Camino families of sorts, and the downside of a Camino family is that the pilgrims actually argue and bicker among themselves sometimes, lol. Such drama. Who wants that? It's really cool to stay flexible and have days when you walk all by yourself.

Love your videos... I`ve been walking the Caminos to Santiago since 2003 and its always wonderful to see this kind of footage! Congratulations and thanks for the trouble os carrying the extra wait to shoot the amazing views on the Camino Frances. Just a small correction: Hontanas is around 18 mile from burgos, not 26 :-D Ultreia peregrino! Keep up with the good videos and Buen Camino!

I meant to say km instead of miles but in the end I found out no two guide books had the same distance so I stopped relying on them. As for the weight, I had to sacrifice on clothing and creature comfort to take my dslr camera and the drone but it was worth it. Thanks for watching and buen camino!
@vlebe7 жыл бұрын
I figured that was what you meant! :-D I also always get confused when I have to think of distances in miles! But this is a minor thing which does not even have any relevance to the camino... Distances are relative to ones mind and perception! Can`t wait to see the rest of your videos! Already planning my Camino Number 09.... Maybe next january.... Let`s see! Ultreia Buddy!!!

thank you for sharing. The towns looked beautiful! Was the Meseta as lonely as everyone says or did you find it an inner examination period? Did you see many people on the Meseta that you spoke too!

It's a change to the routine. I liked it but did hear others complain about the monotonousness. My mind was preoccupied with making these videos. If it's hot then there are no shades to hide away. Summer must be crazy on la meseta.
@HillTrekkerSarge7 жыл бұрын
I found the meseta to be wonderful, even in the summer. It's not the monotonous experience many make it out to be. A lot of poetic license in descriptions of the Camino sometimes.

@@HillTrekkerSarge True. One of my favourite parts of the whole Camino. At the highest point when you're about to start the steep descent down it's like you can see to the end of the earth. Couldn't understand why people skip it, but kind of grateful so many do because it gave me and my friend a lot of time just together.

I'm recognizing a pattern within your videos where you show placing your rocks of remembrance and past discrepancies meant to signify your leaving them behind and evolving to something better. You only ever place your rock which causes destruction of that site to be lesser than it was before you came across it. Except for one time, you always leave a lesser version of yourself and or your intentions by, causing it to crumble and then not fixing or repairing it after your rocks placement causes destruction of that intentional memorial. It's now a common theme in your words used throughout all this series. I truly hope this p.o.v. helps you to grow! Burn Camino's!

You know you if you don't like the videos you can simply move on with your life. Nothing you say now will change what happened in 2017.

@@Walk_with_Efren the intention is not to cause negative or degradation in any way. It's only by external observation of past that we ALL can learn to be better. We either intentionally leave things better or unintentionally leave things worse, either way, what we leave behind is for those next generations. You filming destruction of others memorials may leave what you say but it doesn't cause inspiration. It only shows a perfect example of a semi-care of others efforts before you and passes that into the digital future for the next generation to see as an example. Those behind US ALL are always more capable than we in the present. It's our duty to uphold the best, whatever that may be, and teach not to do the worst by examples and lessons learned. Always and only for the next generation(s). I'm thoroughly enjoying your multiple series and channel in whole. However it seems to be intentionally designed. I'm simply pointing out YOUR impacts upon the many. Because OUR Actions reverberate through time and whether you intend it to or not the powers that be (in all aspects) deem it so. Do with that information what you want, and I will do the same with yours. I genuinely intend for only positive growth for All in whatever format it might occur.Buen Camino's! 😀❤😀❤

How do you know he didn’t pick up the flower from the ground? I like the flower behind the ear moments. It adds to the videos and the flowers are varied.
@Jameschewingfoil4 жыл бұрын
Cindy S That is a stupid fucking question after seeing him do it in other videos.I guess it’s ok for everyone to pick flowers for no reason than to show off and then there would be nothing to look at anymore.Kinda like people who go on private vineyards to pick and eat the grapes.According to you that would be acceptable.
