I love that you give chores to help your kids not be bored. I always tell my kids that it is the best time to gain a new hobby! They know that I grew up without the internet and without a computer and was often confined to my bedroom, which made me a creative person, so they have no excuse to give me. I like the idea of reading your Bible with the window open, even if it is cold (because then it is cleansing the air as your spirit is being cleansed hehe). It's cute you want to have the best first. I think that's good.

I have enjoyed lighting a candle and setting it on my windowsill above the kitchen sink. Smelling it and seeing that little flame is something that brings me joy. I do this when washing dishes, sometimes while making food, and folding laundry.

One thing I enjoy is that I have a weekly “budget meeting” with myself and enjoy my favorite treat while doing so. It has made our debt payoff much more enjoyable. My husband and I work multiple jobs and he leaves the finances to me, which we both prefer. 🥰

This is so timely Megan! I finally made an appointment to get my bloodwork done 6 months postpartum. I'm extremely tired and lightheaded and nauseous and losing to much weight. Being a mum and homemaker while feeling like a wreck is no joke 😅

I'm 54 years old and I love your videos I also watch Lynette Yoder I remember seeing you briefly in a couple of her videos she recently lost her granddad the snow is beautiful I'm from South Carolina and we actually had several inches of snow a couple of weeks ago I loved it,its very rare here as far as your skin goes the #1 thing you can do is wear Sunscreen year round even in winter rain or shine and sunscreen is dose dependant you need at least one quarter to one half of teaspoon for your face alone I enjoyd the video you are a awesome mom and wife may y'all have a blessed and beautiful day God bless ❤

I just switched to toxic free skincare and makeup. I don’t wear alot of makeup usually. Target had a lot of makeup, skincare 50 to 75% off where they’ll be getting new packaging etc. I stocked up for a year . Lol 😆 growing up in the 60s and 70s with eight siblings on a farm we didn’t know what bored was . And my own seven children knew if they said they were bored they were sent outside or given chores 😊 I didn’t play with them either but I did enjoy reading to them which had so many benefits, mainly they all love books and are good story tellers .

I am such a fan of premade salads!! I know I could be better and find better, healthier, even cheaper ingredients. BUT I know myself. And I always go last. So either I don’t eat, or I eat what’s easy. If it’s a choice between sweets or premade salad, I’ll choose the salad and be proud of that choice! This is not the season to be perfect. This is the season to be better.

Sounds like you might like my chicken recipe: 1 cup Russian dressing 1 jar peach or apricot jam 1 packet dry onion soup mix 1/4 c water package of boneless, skinless chicken Stir first 4 ingredients together in a bowl. Spray 9 x 13 pan. Put raw chicken in. Pour sauce on top. Bake 1 hour 15 min at 350 degrees. Add pineapple after if wanted. Shred chicken and stir. Serve over rice. My Hubby loves this!

We're currently having a heat wave!! 5 days over 100°... but still i couldnt live with snow in winters..i dont know how you do it!! We only have a wood fire for winter so no central heating ..just wear real winter clothes inside. For summer we have many ceiling fans & ducted evaporative cooling for heatwave days. M y husband is learning Greek with ( free online) Duo Lingo..every day he does it too! I read everyday & sew. Could you explain some of the fast food places you go to...chick fillet?? Healthy for me means eating with as clean foods as possible. Eating God made food and avoiding man made imitations. Ex. Real milk and butter, not margarine or milk substitutes.Also cooking at home. Whatever we can make at home means someone doesn't have to make it with shortcuts and cheap ingredients.

Some of us like makeup. It is fun to do. And what is wrong with putting your best foot forward? No makeup might be easier, but honestly it doesn't make anyone look better unless the makeup application itself is badly done. We dress nice because it makes us look better. Same thing. Most of the time a makeup-less face looks pretty rough especially as we age. Sorry, not sorry. But do what you want and be comfortable in your own skin and choice. 😊
