Thanks for this! I live & travel full time on a sailboat with limited fridge space, so I always have green cabbage on hand. It’s so versatile and keeps forever, but I often run out of ideas on what to make with it. All of these dishes look so good and can’t wait to try!

I grew up never eating cabbage as a kid because my parents hated it, having eaten it so much when they were children (because it was so cheap), but I've started to realize how awesomely crunchy and versatile it is. This video came at the perfect moment! Going to the store tomorrow to buy some cabbage

Use of vegetables in Korea is nearly second to none. I can't wait to grow more green onions out in the garden this year. It was easier to get old ones from the grocery store, chop off the ends, and plant the white part rather than grow from seed.

When you're cooking with gochugaru, do you use the same coarse flakes used for making kimchi or do you use a fine gochugaru?

Bubble and squeak was a traditional Monday night dinner to use up the leftover cabbage and potatoes from the traditional Sunday roast lunch. Not many people eat it now, but we occasionally make it - maybe 4 times a year. It is great served with a fried egg on top with cold meats and pickles 😊

Cabbage is an often underappreciated vegetable due to how common it is. But it's super versatile and has a lot of the same health and nutritional benefits as it's 'superfood' cousin, Kale. Kale has somewhat more nutrition but it's much harder to use it in recipes, it bitter. Cabbage is often cheaper and you can sneak more of it into recipes. As a brassica, cabbage is related to other healthy foods such as kale, broccoli, and cauliflower. Very healthy.
