A pair of sneakers from the coat closet, a phone case, a bird feeder....(I include the garage as Zone 1!) and a microwave bc we have bought a new one (microwave is from Zone 2, though) Oh...... I can use that nice, white lamp and the CD case..not a need but would be nice to have again bc hubby's cd's are currently in gallon size ziplocks :) Yes, I remember those days of taking Cd's in the car ;) Love your new haircut and the highlighting looks pretty on you!

Hi, Diane, thank you for sharing…your cob webs😁, we’ve a lot, too, because we’re living at the ground floor and spiders feel very invited through the back door from the garden. And because I’m a big book lover there’s a lot of dust, too. I’m short sighted, so sometimes I skip things… I really have to have my routine. I’m using an equal 'dusting mitten' in bright green💚 and enjoy shaking it in the garden and let the dust go… easy. Not so easy: letting books go…☺️. Haha: a fire place still working with candles…but you’re right: it would be quite hot in a small room. Love, Monika❣️

I’m am really appreciating that I have been keeping up with my routines. I have had surgery and can’t really do anything at the moment, but everything is staying fairly good. My husband and kids are doing the basics, so I can slowly recover.

OMG I have one of those CD holders for the car somewhere LOL yikes crazy what we can be hanging on to without realizing it! I was thinking of purchasing a feather duster and stop using disposables that mimic a feather duster. Is it ostrich feather duster that you use? I did see that you attached the duster to another pole making in easier to clean out of reach areas.

Hi Nadja and welcome! I would suggest that you don't do any zone cleaning until you are comfortable doing your daily routines and the Weekly Home Blessing - those things will make sure your home is clean and cosy, and that you don't get overwhelmed. After that, feel free to add in some zone cleaning each week. The basic weekly plan is for all the other "life" things we need to do each week (paying bills, date night, menu planning). Question just because I’m nosey! What language do your family all speak to each other at home? And I saw you had some Swedish books - how much Swedish can you speak / understand? I’ve heard they’re similar but not sure if speaking one makes the other completely understandable?

Our kids are bilingual. I speak English with them, hubby speaks Danish with them. So conversation at dinner table is mixed 😁 I read Swedish, watch Swedish TV, listen to Swedish radio etc

Fly Lady was wonderful about 15 years ago. Then she started charging for her advice. I wish I had kept the emails she told us to delete. She charges for what is in those o,d emails. This makes me very angry.
