Would be good if you could include % of FTP in the graphics as most people use Smart Trainers and Train with Power. Perceived Effort is a bit old school these days.

I was half way through a 45 minute ride when I decided to try this and gees it was hard after that but not so hard it was impossible. I am recovering from a knee injury so my cardio isn’t anywhere as good as it used to be but I’ve got no doubt this will get me back in shape in no time if I keep doing it. Great session.

What a session! Dripping sweat. I'm not very good at cycling, but these are great workouts for when I can't or don't want to do HIIT that involves sprinting and burpees.

I find that session very good since that is so nice look at suffering some times :) Have still the Boss session 53 minutes sprint interval in my legs :)! Manon as always good and she has the voice for do it I see!

Feel like a total idiot here, but how can I follow up these type of sessions with my smart trainer? Should I use the factory app (emyETraining) and decrease/increase the resistance? Or just with the standard resistance and shifting harder gears?

I don't know what these level are. Is level 10 like your ftp (100%, zone 4) or like zone 7 (151-200% from your ftp)?

I'm not entirely sure but i think they use a Rate of Perceived Exertion scale (RPE), going up from 1 to 10. So RPE 10 means the maximum effort you can do for the given timeframe. So 30 seconds @RPE10 is an all out sprint, just like 5 minutes @RPE10 is maximum short 'time trial'. From there scale it back. The effort level is relative to the timeframe. Level 7 for 30 seconds would still be well above FTP, whereas level 7 for 5 minutes might be around FTP. But don't overthink it.

Beginners beware! This session is short but it is NOT easy. I’ve only done a few GCN trainings and this one was far more difficult that the others. I had to sit the last 10/10 effort out. 😮💨

Something I don't understand is why short sessions like this have such a low TSS but I can't do them 2 days in a row while long easy ride have a much higher TSS but I can repeat them several days in a row

I don't think TSS score makes a lot of sense for short hiit sessions. These intervals just hit your muscles and nervous system differently, especially when not really used to them.
