Thank you for this beautiful meditation David. 💕 Today I'm grateful for having friends. 🥰 Yesterday I learned a little something about new moon and it's really interesting since I haven't really thought about the affects of the moon before. My glimmer from yesterday: watching my niece competing in figure skating. I'm so proud of her. 💖

This meditation was beautiful, and the poem almost made me cry with emotion. I used to think I was a naturally ungrateful person, that whether you were able to focus on the positives or not was something you were born with and that was that. Learning that I could make a practice out of being grateful has quite literally changed my life, and yoga is one of the activities that reminds me of that fact daily. Feeling grateful for the world and for this channel 💛 (p.s. my "thing I've learned recently" was that humans can smell a when a drop of rain has fallen 200,000 times better than sharks can smell a drop of blood in the ocean, aren't we amazing?!)

Oh Tei my heart is smiling SO BIG right now. Being human is such a fascinating thing - in the absence of physical movement the body becomes frail. When we stop learning the mind starts to close. And unless we consistently practice gratitude, the heart begins to harden. Yoga understands these fundamental truths and helps us exercise ALL of our "happiness muscles" I am grateful for YOU 🤗❤️

I absolutely ADORED everything about this guided meditation. I followed along with it after today's new upper body stretch practice and I got so relaxed at one point that I nearly fell asleep. I loved the analogy of gratitude being a garden in the heart. I loved reconnecting with the confidence and surprise I felt when I discovered something new while doing my favorite hobby. I loved the reminder that somewhere, there are orcas and other magical things. I loved thinking that the reason why I don't experience all the magic in the universe on a daily basis is that it would be too much to handle because there is so much of it, it would just blow me away. P.S. I also tried your suggestion of sitting in a chair with blocks under my feet. It felt really delicious in my lower back and I didn't get pins and needles in my legs. Thank you, David!
