As a chronic anxiety sufferer for years I've only recently discovered the therapeutic effects of looking after my vagus nerve. After years of ineffective therapy I can honestly say I've found something that helps put me in control. I felt so relaxed after this short meditation I almost fell asleep, my breathing deepened and my stress levels fell dramatically so thank you.

I just found your Chanel and this meditation. I suffer from CPTSD. After many years of Theraphy , I have recently found out about how stress can be stored in the nervous system and how healing the body is just as important. I am learning more about the Vagus system and can’t wait to do this meditation as soon as I open my eyes , since I feel a sense of hopeless as soon as I wake up. I will be saving it to have available offline for when I travel . Thank you!

I've been having tachycardia and have been working on bringing my pulse down all morning. It's been coming down bit by bit, but just now, before this meditation, it was 83. Then after doing this meditation, it was 75. That's the biggest difference I've gotten all morning, and I tried three different exercises before this. This works!

you might want to try acupressure on the heart and pericardium meridians. Points are H7 and PC6. Google it - works great for my heart racing. Also points DU20, CV17 and the point just above the upper lip and below the nose, press in with nail. You can do all of them in succession - they work great!

What is the fastest way to calm the vagus nerve? Just a few minutes of deep breathing can keep your vagus nerve active. Meditate. Meditation activates the vagus nerve and calms the network of nerves that control myriad physiological processes. “Meditation and mindfulness not only lower your heart rate, but they also reduce blood pressure levels.” Nutrients that support the vagus nerve include: Choline (to make acetylcholine, our main neurotransmitter) Vitamin B12. Magnesium.

Hi Susanna, it does sound like your autonomic nervous system is not correctly regulating the bodies response to stress. That is what happened to me 10 years ago. @@JustinCaffrey Hi Justin, thank you for your response. I saw an osteopath yesterday. He did some "movements" on several parts of my body for regulating the vagus also showed me some techniques. Theres is also a connection to my stomache, the moment"too much" food or too greasy food enters my stomache I almost shiver and the stress thing begins.(there is an inflammation) But I knwo in the meantime that stomache and vagus also goes together. I will do your online course, and maybe would like to take a one to one session with you. I could not findy any contact adress, but maybe I overlooked it days ago.
