I’m a 27 year old female. Hives is how I got diagnosed with hashimotos last year. I started breaking out in seriously chronic hives almost 2 years ago for 6-8 months until I had proper testing done. Literally covered in hives that got the worst at night. I would wake up with a swollen mouth, hives around my eyes, etc. I was constantly loading up on Benadryl and Zyrtec. I finally had a full thyroid panel done and found my TPO antibodies were 490 when they should be under 9. Going gluten free/dairy free, cutting out foods I tested sensitive to, and getting on proper supplements made my hives go away.

@@vajras4769 yes. I cut out gluten and honestly that’s what helped the hives to stop.

I have Hives only at nite started this last February and yes my TPO is high. I have been taking natural Thyroid. What supplements did you get on? I am on quite a few and some are anti inflammatory. Been off and on taking Lymphatic drops to help with the Lymphatic system knowing this is also called Chronic Lymphocytic Thyroiditis. I am 62yr old female.
@karmaGSD6 ай бұрын
@@beckiwildeman600 I would also recommend doing a ultrasound of your thyroid to see if there are any nodules or damage to the thyroid. If not, there’s no reason to take thyroid medication. My hives would also flare up only at night and fade fully by noon the next day. They would start again every evening. My TPO was high, but my thyroid was fine. So I started on an EPA/DHA supplement, digestive enzymes, gluten/dairy digest in case I consumed those things, and a strong probiotic. Also had to cut out gluten and dairy. It was truly the dietary changes that stopped the hives. If I eat gluten now, I will start to get hives again. I would do research on autoimmune protocol for hashimotos.

I’ve had a waxy skin rash that I’ve gone to the doctor for a dermatologist endocrinologist my TCT so many times I can’t count and they’ll check my thyroid and they say no thyroid is fine. Well, it’s not fine. I have not been, my thyroid hormone I had a thyroid out 23 years ago and I am serious as well. I started taking vitamin D three magnesium, calcium and B12 and finally I believe that my thyroid is starting to work because the skin rash is starting to go and I have like a waxy, weird skin rash it would not go away no matter what I did they would give me creams steroids your name it did not go away, I believe it all because my thyroid was not working because I didn’t have any. I’ve had every symptom of low thyroid for seven years or even longer. I didn’t have any B12 and thank God for your videos.!! You go to the Dr. they check your thyroid levels, if they are ok, they send u down the rd saying not your thyroid! When it is!!!! I believe I was not absorbing it. I have every symptom of low thyroid & low b12. I did not know if u don’t have b12 an vitamin D you won’t absorb the thyroid hormone. I haven’t for YEARS!!!! I’d sleep 15 hrs have migraines waxy skin, so bad to the point I had to get a night job cuz I couldn’t get up an my skin looks so bad and my hair was falling out in chunks! I had ringing I the ears, double vision GI probs allergies I never had before the skin lesions that looks like a bad case of it it looks like it’s like glue is all over my skin inbetted in all my pours. Slow wound healing, what else?mouth sores, my hair was turning white and wouldn’t hold color, low hemoglobin, itching, dry skin, blurry vision, dry eyes, brittle nails, fatigue depression, not motivated hard to get up an get going, horrible horrible skin, pits an lines on my nails, brain fog, memory issues, can’t sweat, you NAME IT, all the hypothyroid & low b12. My balance is off, I’d run into things, a the drs checked my thyroid and when it’s good they welp not that. Well, thank God for Jesus! Cuz he finally gave me the answers! Since I’ve been taking the methylated vit. B12 an vit. D magnesium an calcium most of my symptoms are going away!!! No thanks to my drs help. Oh and thickened skin! So what do ppl do that don’t know about any of this stuff like I didn’t who has suffered for YEARS, like I have?
