As someone who builds BMW's and can this about #13. Yes some parts can be swapped, not all but some. A missed point from #3. The colors had to be reversed since it's against the law to use the Balvarian Flag as a logo. #16 More BMW's are made in America than anywhere else. Now go buy the Ultimate Driving Machine.

alden claros it's a smart move by BMW, they do use a lot of the same engines in each of their series. For instance the n55 engine is in all the "35" cars(135, 235, 335, 435, 535, x1 35, x3 35, x4 35, x5 35, x6 35) there for they don't need to design a different engine for each model and a fair share of parts can be used on different models. Mercedes does the same thing

This video is just shit in explaining the details. So yes. The engines as long as the car comes with such an engine can be swapped as most of the current generation shares the same engine options with some variance. But the most mainstream 2l and 3l diesels are across the board on 3,4,5 series... and many X variants. The video however shows relevant parts. It is possible that brake rotors are the same as wheels are the same. It is (I am sure over time there are exceptions) always 5 screws and identical camber requirements. So you can put your 1 series wheel on a 3 series any day. And the difference: if you swap your engine you need to upload a different program as you 'code it to the car' as different powertrains require different engine characteristics. No wonder enthusiasts love the brand because you can tinker with it some... but I think they mostly just break them from what I have seen. For instance the E46 318d and the E46 320d is the same M47N engine block but different injection nozzles and different emission control bits later on on the EGR and the intercoooler. So swapping in the bigger injectors and reprogramming the engine to the higher spec usually breaks those cars and I am unsure if there may be a bit beefier power train in the 320d compared to the 318d... probably.... So yeah when it burns your clutch or breaks your differential... well... :)

so many inaccurate details, 1) Richthofen pronounced wrong. 2) Mini and RR are not the most popular english brands, they are in the top, but not the most popular. 3) Datsun is one word, not "Dat sun". 4) it was mentioned that the building is shaped like their four cylinder engines, "like the engines that went into the plane, which Red Baron said were the best engine in the WW1" despite the fact that the airplane engine used in WW1 had 6 cylinders :) P.S. these are just the inaccuracies that buggered me the most, there are definetly more of them, the content creator should pay more attention to some details :)

Jesus, where to start? I can think of at least 100 things that ARE NOT swappable between the models. Make the M1 story more exciting! Lambo were having financial troubles and put the M1 to the side. BMW HAD to make and sell 500(?) production cars so they could race it. BMW broke into Lamborghini and stole the plans so they could go on without Lambo. Sadly, by the time BMW put it on the market, the rules for the race changed and the M1 was no longer eligible 😢 Rolls Royce and Mini are still based and made in England, not Germany. The BMW IV Aero Engine broke the altitude record back in 1919. Why wasn't that mentioned? 3 Million for that Nazco... Perfect BMW 507s go for 2.5M... so you know in reality Elvis's restored 507 is definately past 3M. It's no secret BMW does April Fools jokes, lots of car companies started in on the fun. What got me was that you showed footage of the lucky lady on April Fools day. The ad read the first person to come in will get a free BMW. Too good to be true on April Fools day? No, she actually got it. That's the lesser known thing that could have easily been stated. And come on? Kidney Grilles? Nobody knew that? Let's just replace 15 with this instead- The 2002tii was the first production vehicle to have a turbo and fuel injection.

i think respectively, they meant the different line-ups to a series in their brand. like the e46 325i, 330i and 335i all used the same parts, one had a turbo, while two of them were the same with one having a more tuned engine/exhaust.

BMW is my favorite. But it's not the best. But it can be. It all depends on how you look at the vehicle and what series/model you're trying to compare it to with another brand/model.
