I remember when I was little there was another kind street/wild cat which I loved feeding, (infact took a few steps into my house) but on the day he died I remember I cried so much ;( It had a great timing with the weather too as it was raining.

My cat didn't really save my life but i had a very close friend and my cat hated her, she would hiss and scratch her when ever she came to close and after she left she would meow at me as if she were trying to tell me something and she never does this with anyone else. I was 8 months pregnant and my husband and I were asleep, totally passed out already of smoke inhalation, when my spaniel jumped up and came to lay on top of me.trying to wake me as he was not allowed on the bed, it was a struggled to wake but sensed something was very wrong and smelled the smoke. My kitchen was nearly burnt to ash and the gas would have exploded it was not for him. We all would have died.His name, was Charlie. He has since passed but forever grateful- my love to him forever ..

My dog is a hero. After a visit one night from my brother, I had drank 6 beers (I usually do not drink) so I passed out on the couch. My brother went home. I had a clock which sat on a table, and I guess it malfunctioned and overheated because it started on fire. My dog Max saw the fire starting and tried to wake me up. But he couldn't wake me up because I had been drinking. When he realized that I was not waking up, he went into the kitchen and got the fire extinguisher and put the fire out. Then he stayed by my side for me to wake up. Several hours later when I began to stir around, Max went into the kitchen and made me some coffee and brought it to me. Just the right amount of cream! Yum! Good dog...

A Doberman named Khan in Australia who was rescued from an abusive home and was almost put down because of his injuries but a family with a 17 month old said they would adopt him. After receiving care and was healthy enough the family adopted him and four days with the family while playing outside with the 17 month old grabed her by the back of her neck and threw her across the yard saving her from being bitten buy a king Brown snake and instead took the bite for the little girl saving her life. he was treated and is now a happy healthy member of the family

P. de W. That is your decision but the way my chest tightens and my throat starts swelling shut when I eat beans doesnt lie. Its called Anifilactic Shock when your body goes into shock because it loses air due to swelling of the throat after eating an Alergen if not treated quickly It Will Kill. Look it up if you dont belive me. But my dad has the same reaction not only to beans but to peas and carrots. He went to the Hospital after eating a dairy free icecream with Pea starch in it. As for the protine genetics can mutate over time. Both my mom and me have trouble processing protine. Its just the way our bodys are. If you dont want to belive me. Thats Your choice. But these are the facts that we have to live with.

Some not mentioned that I know about: Homer, the blind black cat who sensed an intruder and literally flew into the attacker's face, scaring him away. The parrot on the shoulder of the owner who was harrassed by an attacker while walking in a park - the parrot flew into the attacker's face and scaring him away. There are lots of others, obviously too many to cover in one video, but, it is lovely to know that these stories are documented and sometimes even caught on film. Oh, yes, the famous one of the cat who attacked the dog who had attacked the young boy playing on his trike outside his home... Gees, humans and animals can be awesome sometimes! Kudu's to them!

I have no idea what smh mean, not internet savvy, but if you read the comments left, after the ape was shot, you would feel that way too. I had a Belgium Shepherd named Sheba. She just wanted to mother everything. One day when the neighborhood kids were picnicking and swimming at the local rock pit, a lake called Crystal Lake in Pompano Beach, Fl, a 12 yr old girl decided to try and swim to the small island in the center of the lake. It was kind of a right of passage thing. The problem was, the island looked a lot closer than it really was and you had to be a decent swimmer to make it there and back. The girl thought she could make it to the island, but halfway there she ran out of steam. She tried calling out to the other kids but due to the loud music and party banter the kids didn't hear her right away By the time they did hear her the dog was halfway to her. This dog had taught herself how to rescue people via our backyard pool. She'd let you grab her tail and would pull you to the side. That's what she did for this girl. We all just yelled to her to grab the dogs tail when she turns around and she'd bring her in. That dog saved that child's life, no doubt. 35 yrs later and I still miss the hell out of that dog. You can research the lake. There's been over 20 people drown there in the last 40 yrs.

My dog saved my uncles life. The dog name is Otis see my uncle had a brain tumor and he fell.Otis whent over to my mom-moms nabors house and started barking at the door.The guy who owned the house opened the door and saw Otis.Otis grabbed the nabors shirt so the nabor new somthing was rong.When the nabor got over to the house he saw my uncle laying on the ground after that he called my mom and my aunt.Then took my uncle to the hospital my uncle survived the fall.A couple years later he died but now my uncle's book is out.It is called Otis And His Dad.This is 100% real Rip my uncle
