I bought this impact driver only 15$ cause it looks very old and the battery also dead. There is some water inside the box I think I couldn't get it back to work. Incidentally, I picked up another battery at good condition. The seller gave it to me for free. Finally, I can get this impact driver back to life. This tool is really powerful and greatly reduces striking noise. At the end of the video, you will see the drill testing and comparing.

This procedure is only slightly different from my own preferred restoration method: 1) Tear down the tool to the smallest components, de-greasing and performing rust removal along the way. 2) Forget how all the pieces go back together. Put them all in a box and set them out on the curb on trash day. 3) Purchase a new impact driver.

The best restoring channel. You have inspired me to buy old electric tools and restore them for my workshop instead of just buying new ones. So far It's really cheap to get great tools, that I simply couldnt afford otherwise. It's so much fun to bring them back to life when someone has abandoned them.

@@xenonram I agree as well, but at the same time I've been troubled with his coffee grinder restoration. I'm coffee machines / grinders oriented and he should have either buy new conical burr or create one. He just cleaned the old one, which makes his entire restoration useless, because he will never get decent coffee out of that. Kinda pointless restoration. But I fully agree on his craftsmanship, he is really skilled.
