Hi thank you for this great vidéo. Every time now we cast on tv, there is a sign that pops up at the bottom, and has the words "Premium get ad-free youtube and more "get it now dismiss". @@MichaelSaves We've been using it since March, and so far the only problem is getting used to it. But when I have questions, just serf the net and find the answers and it's been working fine. We get all the programs we truly enjoy + lots others. Can't believe we spent so many years with Directv, when You Tube TV was available. But know if I have any problems, you're one of the "go to" sources. Thanks for being there for those of us who care about saving money.!!

I just cut the cord on spectrum cable, and switched to KZbin tv 3 days ago. I can’t tell you how satisfied I am so far. The picture quality is great, and I love that I can change the video quality I want right on the screen. Side note: if you are experiencing bad picture quality; change the video setting from auto to 720p or 1080p. I am streaming on a Apple TV 4K, the 2021 edition, so it’s very easy for me to change the video quality, it’s at the bottom of the screen when you swipe down to view networks, HD, etc. There are no duplicate channels like spectrum had; and KZbin tv has all the channels I watch under one package. And I also like that I can customize my guide. On top of the free trial; I also got 3 months for $54.99; after that it will revert to the normal monthly price. All in all I am very happy with this streaming service. It is a lot cheaper than cable; but you need to have a good internet service, speed, and preferably, no data caps. Enjoy!

I wish that KZbin TV offered 4k. I would want 1440p for those who are broadcasting in 720p currently, and 2160p for those who are broadcasting in 1080p currently. No need to add channels at this point, just use the resources to provide better picture quality. 👍

To Michael: I had a chat session with YTTV regarding recording shows. I am not able to watch a specific show b/c it shows a lock symbol on the screen and will not allow me to watch that specific show w/o paying an extra $15 a month to add Max to my base plan. Which I am not gonna do for one show. What I find is odd, is that on that same network it is not an issue just that show.. If there was a way I could send an attachment so you could read the paragraphs in which they’re trying to explain to me why I can’t watch it on DVR versus VOD, which is confusing to me. I’m not sure I understand it completely I would send it. But I don’t see that I can send you an attachment. Idk if that helps you understand what the situation is or not.

I'm still learning how to use the fire stick. It's built into our Amazon Fire TV, but I'll get there. How do i find the library tab at the top of the screen? It isn't always there when I turn on my tv. I scroll over to youtube and then drop down to youtube tv. I can't find the screen where it shows 'library home live' to choose from. I want to know how to find my channel from the HOME tab... when we turn in the TV we would like to find our favorite channel and ut sometimes is the first icon and sometimes you can't find it... nit on the chanel list or live. @@Weeone5207 yes so it is probably showing those other recommendations because they’re popular at that time slot. But if you’re watching the same thing and it’s not under Top Picks, make sure your watch history isn’t paused. Find this under settings. And finally there’s a news tab on the Home Screen if you scroll down a bit. Take care

Great video, but I have one issue I wish I could solve. I don’t know any way to set up a recording of some future event. For example, I’d like to record a show that I know will air tomorrow, but I won’t be home tomorrow. Is there any way to access the show's listing now, and tell it to record? Great content, Michael. I'm so new to all. Just sent from AT&T to Spectrum. And IJust got Roku but realize I can't watch ABC or CBS or NBC which are important to me. So, from what you say KZbin TV might be the right way. But now I"m still paying $124 to Spectrum, and I have to pay for Cable as well when I don't have it? I have the box though, they left me the box! yikes. I feel like I've been taken advantage of.

Great information in this video. I've not yet figured out how to shuttle past the end of a program. Sometimes I pause my program, then it ends and a new program begins on the same channel. I can't fast forward past the commercal break into the next program without playing it in real time. Has YTTV addressed this issue? Thanks for this video with a lot of helpful tips.

I am wondering if it's possible to lengthen the pause time of a show. I will hit pause in the middle of the show get up and do something come back and find not only has it gone back to Roku home, but when I finally go through the process of getting back to the show I have to fast forward to where I think it left off. It always starts at the beginning of the show. Is there a way to change that?

Yep make sure you have enough time to watch it all. lol, on a serious note you could try going to the continue watching section, depending on what I’ve been watching I can sometimes find it there and it starts where o left it. Awards season is happening and when I search for the Grammys or Screen Actors Guild award, nothing comes up to allow me to place the broadcast in my library for recording. I am not having any luck finding help about this issue. Special award events like Golden Globes and Academy Awards are not listed as options and record in my library. Can you please help?

By the way, DirectTV/ATT did me a favor by jacking up my rates and not being willing to lower them. We were spending (at their new rate) over $300 for phone, internet and TV and now (Xfinity internet and cell, KZbin TV) we are spending $150. That's 1800 less a year! Plus XF gave us $200 in gift cards and a new phone!

Largely they do so in my experience. However an OT NFL game on Sunday and tonight’s Yankees/Red Sox games ended recording before the conclusion. Disappointing and not sure what to do about it!

Very good video! I'm setting up KZbin TV (Fire Stick 4K) for my 91yr old mom. The live guide is a problem for her. 1) the channel IDs are too small to recognize. 2) channel IDs do not include a number to help with recognition and memory. Is there any way to enlarge the channel IDs to at least the same size as the program information? Also, an alphabetical option would greatly help her in finding a particular channel. For now I'll have to manually reorder (customize) them for her as I just learned by watching this video.

The only option is to customize at this point. Some other services list channels in alphabetical order or have that option. Still, I think KZbin TV's guide is best. Maybe getting your mom to use the home screen would be best. The thumbnails are large and it will offer recommendations based on her viewing.

Does anyone know why some shows that have been added to the library still only have a VOD option and not with the DVR option? I record to fast forward, but I can't figure out what's wrong with a couple of shows in my library.

This shouldn’t happen for new airings or even reruns if you set the recording. But I’ll use an example that may help. Let’s say you set a recording for Friends. From today on, all airings will be recorded and in the DVR. But some episodes that haven’t aired since you set the recording may be available on demand still.

Hi Jill, KZbin TT should know where you left off automatically. Can you check something for me? Go to settings, privacy and then make sure that you have not paused watch history. If that is paused, it won't keep track of where you left off. Another solution that comes to mind to maybe "trick the system." is to press the pause key before you exit out of the show. Let me know if either of these help.

You are the family manager. Create a new email for your property and add that as a user on your account as a second profile. Then use that to log in. Only the family manager can make changes to the account.

I haven't had any show start late, they usually start just before the show starts. If it's a problem on your end you could try recording the show before the one you want and catch what you missed that way.

I am watching KZbin TV on my main tv but I am trying to access it on another non-smart tv. I can't get past step 3 sign into Google. I tried doing it on my laptop and iPhone but it does not seem to work and the tv does not refresh and let me use the KZbin TV - any suggestions on what I can do. Help is not helpful. Also signed out of Google and signed back in but nothing. Thank you for this video - it was very helpful!!

What streaming device are you using? And is that device connected to the same WiFi as your phone or computer that you’re using to sign in? That’s where I would start.

This will document your issue. The chat rep may ask you to do this anyway so they can review the logs.

Not individual shows -- only the entire series by removing it from your library. You can use the mark as watched feature that I mention in the video.

When watching library mode the commercial ads volume blows out my ears. The sound raises 100 x the sound of the show. Can this be fixed?

@ I do know for sure. The instructions I gave are from when you login in via TV. There is a settings option on the Who’s Watching screen. I will make a quick video and upload to my second channel.

@@MichaelSaves I apologize. I rebooted my Apple TV and reopened the KZbin TV app and found the setting button and turned it off. Then rebooted the Apple TV again and reopened the app and it was gone. Yay, thanks.

Hello: Cannot, for "the life of me", figure out what caused our KZbinTV "location" switch from Toledo, Ohio to Cleveland, Ohio... but *_ONLY on the TV (Samsung SmarTV) version_* . My smartphone (Android) STILL shows both our "Home Area" AND "Location" as Toledo, Ohio! Also *cannot, to date, figure out "the FIX"~*
