@@thathemiguy your right, limp mode means you might still be able to drive it home, vs being a oil stain on the back of a flatbed. From the factory they spend millions and countless hours, days, years of R&D to make sure everything plays well or we'll enough with each other. A tuner does this in a mater of minutes maybe hrs all for a couple thousand dollars. With that said, I'll still take the limp mode over and ride my car home, vs my car being carried home.

Fr there's a 600hp difference and despite the lambo going limp, it still wasn't really pulling crazy on that pickup! I thought it would have been a night and day unfair race but surprisingly no. I think if that guy cab get a better suspension and perhaps push more weight towards the back then he definitely will get out the whole better and be less squirrely on the long run

Quick sidenote, forged carbon is NOT stronger than regular carbon fiber. Normally the weave is nice and orderly before they seal it in resin, whereas the process of making forged carbon just involves getting a bunch of loose carbon weave scraps and mushing them together (similar to how forging works in metalworking) and then adding the resin. Since they're not bound together in any meaningful way you're relying more on the strength of the resin than in regular carbon fiber thus making the end material quite a bit weaker.
