Great video. My son and I rigged out 2 of these the same way. That was 3 yrs ago…still going strong! We have milk crates with the same rod holders. We ditched the coolers as they were caving in. Replaced cooler with dry boxes. We also rigged up an anchor trolley…. Game changer!!! Now I’m investing(for this year) some sort of “dry suit” to extend the season. Good luck. Great video.

So smart! This solves a lot of issues for me too!! I have some pretty significant knee problems and I'm starting physical therapy. The option of having a seat for breaks is so genius! When my knees are acting up sitting down on the board is difficult. I wonder if the rachet strap cooler set up will work as well with an inflatable.

I used that same igloo cooler when i first got started. The lid just isn't going to hold up over time to being a seat but otherwise its a solid little cooler. I built myself a fishing crate from 2 plastic crates similar to others. I put a triple rod holder on it. Consider making some leashes for your rods and paddle so you dont loose them!
