Beginner crocheters should know that you can complete many projects with the absolute basic stitches - chains, single crochets and double crochets. Do not be disheartened if you are confused by some of these stitches. I've been crocheting for nearly two years and I haven't used many of these stitches. I have no doubt I will eventually learn them as I progress and work more complex patterns but so far I have been happy with the projects I have completed using the absolute basic stitches. I haven't been a fan of crochet all my life as I am left handed and found instructions difficult to follow. Wow!! Your video has solved this! You explain the stitches so well I can easily figure out how to do them in reverse so to speak! Thankyou so, so much. I am so glad I found your video. I have always been able to do simple stitches and taught my sister to crochet and now she has the same problem as I had because, though she is right handed, I taught her left handed!! @@kaitlynsoto5212 the end result is different. Yarn over stitches resulting in v-shape stitches and yarn under would result in x-shape stitches. They said yarn under make stitches tighter, too, that's why many amigurumi makers usually choose yarn under while clothes/fabric makers choose yarn over.

As a left brainer its been a struggle for me 2 be clear of why stuff(certain parts of stitch or loopy pull thru) is done & ive had 2 make(even if not real) a reason in order for me 2 rembr each particular part of da stitches.
