16 Hours in Asiana Business Class to Hong Kong (A350-900)

I spent 16 hours in Asiana Business Class to Hong Kong. The first 12 hours was in the A350-900 from Seattle to Seoul, South Korea. I would not be able to afford these seats with money, so I used Chase Ultimate Rewards points that I transferred to the Air Canada Aeroplan loyalty program to use miles for this redemption.

cute couple. You did a good job of reviewing the lounges. Needs some work with reviewing BC seats though. Even though you didn't sleep on the flight most people looking at reviews of BC want to know #1. Seat configuration, 1-2-1, 2-2-2, etc. #2. Seat differences, isle vs. center. Do the center seats have overhead compartments. How they face. Some AL's have BC class seats that face backwards. #3. Seat controls. What it looks like in the lay flat position and the bedding provided. What the privacy barrier looks like when fully extended.

I have seen on a few airlines that they don`t offer champagne before takeoff, and in all cases it has to do with taxes, customs or laws in the country where they are. I`m pretty sure that you would have been offered champagne in the opposit direction.

Asiana seoul to seattle business class did not impress for two reasons: 1. They dont provide a comforter to sleep? Really so cheap? 2. Food is totally rushed, not served with love and care and crew shortly after completely disappears The food is good and service is good for the most part. Young flight attendants are hard working and eager whereas the purser and older attendants are mean rude and lazy.

It's interesting because I haven't received a comforter on any of my 5 business class flights. I did notice the flight attendants weren't as attentive as some of my other experiences, but if this flight was available again I'd give it another shot

hi, just checked seats aero... does transferring UR to Virgin Atlantic enables me to book via Virgin Australia? I see lots of availability either Aeroplan, Alaska, AA, Qantas & Virgin Australia, thanks

I did quite a bit of research and I don’t have a perfect answer, but I’m pretty sure I found that Virgin Atlantic points can not be used to book on Virgin Australia. I was bummed to find that out because I see some good deals like that on Seats Aero too
