-. I’m not sure how it works in the states, but a defence attorney can’t deliberately sabotage their client. It could cause a mistrial, because everyone is innocent until proven guilty, so the defendant has to be given a fair defence no matter what. In this case they would at the very least have to bring in a whole new jury, etc., but if the crime is a small one it’d likely just get tossed out.

@@ZinedinePrime social niceties, to be exactly I'm going to give you an example : she thinks that I have to get a relationship and build a family, but I don't want it (I have more important plans for the future). And about my personal life, she comments in about every aspect of it, and I feel invaded with this kind of thing. But, the biggest problem is her undeveloped Tertiary Ti, because she always thinks that she is right when speaking about something. And if you counter attack with arguments, she becomes aggressive and insecure about the answers
@ZinedinePrime5 жыл бұрын
@@FOSJ-ze9hm Interesting that u mention ur *wants* over what she thinks you *should* do, that makes u sound like an Intuitive rather than a sensor as ur going for ur own *plans for the future* rather than sticking to the Si loyalty to tradition and the past. She obviously can't force u and at the end of the day it's ur life and u have the final say but if her intention is for the best, to try and help then take her advice as best u can without taking it too personally or being too angry with her. I understand the frustration of dealing with tertiary Ti because I had to deal with this INFJ friend at school (I'm an INTJ btw) and he hated the counter arguments too, he just wanted me to take his word as fact without substantial evidence etc. Her being insecure sounds like it might be her 4th, Inferior function/stress function rather than her child function, because that's where a person's insecurity lies. A person feels angry, defensive and aggressive with their Parent if their Child is attacked but not insecure as much, insecurity is mostly linked to the Inferior. Probably ISFJ but ESFJ seems like a possibility based on that description.
@FOSJ-ze9hm5 жыл бұрын
@@ZinedinePrime Well, I got plans for the future, but I don't know how to reach them (the key thing is stability, with it, I can execute those plans) And this is a strong weakness on low Ti users, they think that they're the owner of the truth. Because of that, I prefer to hang out with xxTPs than xxFJs (and my best friend of all time is an ESTP) You're right too, but she got a very balanced result when she did the personality test (30% of E to 60% of I), just like me lol The funny fact about all of this, is that I get along better with my mother that is ESFP than my sister

Personally, as an INFP, I would simultaneously try to find both inconsistencies and different frames of view in the case as well as trying to appeal to the jury's better nature, empathy, and conscience. If that failed I'd flip-flop between pure pathos and verbally tearing a hole into the other side's argument, while philosophizing on the nature of justice and humanity (ultimately resorting to subtle guilt-tripping if it came to that). In addition, as a lead-in I would try to find a thread of logic that would pique everyone's interest to make it more likely that they would then want to know what *really* happened and we could work together to get to the bottom of it. If my client was guilty, however, I'd try to convince them to plea bargain for a lesser sentence and then there would _be_ no trial. Yeah... I've thought about this quite a bit over the years, as is evident. It's fun to imagine!

Not to really base on the 16p, but I'm an INFP yet my family wants me to be a lawyer. I don't actually want to, because I know myself that I'm not gonna be a good lawyer, but what should I do?

If you yourself feel like you wouldn't make a good lawyer, then don't become one. I'm pretty sure if you are an adult, your family should have absolutely no control over your choices anymore, so they shouldn't really stop you. It's YOUR life, not theirs. - an ISFP

INTP: *writing frantically on a chalk board* ...and therefore by Gödel's Incompleteness Theorem, it is mathematically impossible to prove that my client is guilty. Q.E.D.

Ah, yes. INTP. The discussion on X topic was going in strong, but then I tuned in and asked... Have we defined our terms? Because if not, it could make all statements until that point void.

As an INTJ I am definitely the INTX in this video lol

So.. an intp would be a good lawyer?

I'm actually making a presentation and I swear that is my legit intro as an INFJ😂😂😂😂 I've erased it like 10 times because it's way too long and I don't get to the point. But THEN I think about how important is to introduce things... The loop still goes on and on.

I have a best friend who is an ENTP. And while we both agree that he would make an excellent lawyer, we also both agree that his moral compass would not allow him to defend someone he knows is guilty.

Yes, I could never do that either.

Maybe it’s just me, and I’m not representative of most ISTPs, but I suspect we would all be more interested in being trial lawyers if Real Life was more like Ace Attorney. In those games a trial is all about using Ti to understand the crime and point out contradictions between what people say and hard physical evidence-with lots of desk pounding, pointing, and shouting to keep our Se happy.

I wonder how would an ISFJ enter law school. They are so worried being disliked. Law school is a very harsh environment.

TL;DW: Being xxFP is grounds for disqualification from admittance to the bar in all states.
