Grreat sense of humor! Too bad we couldn't be that real. Play and jest, with some sarcastic irony, and still be in the running. Be a real Human. That would be novel. Instead, a phony presentation, is appreciated, and gets the job. Luckily, PHONY, is taught on line, "How to interview"

I am so scared to even apply. At this point of career shaping in my profession I don't want to get into just about any work I can get, coz then I have to stick to it for at least a year. So I am in a kind of analysis paralysis situation right now and too afraid of rejection

@@mastershisho5162 Yeah, thank you. I'm hunting since october 2020 so... not too long and it will be nearly a year, but because I am a student now and in a really complex life crisis after a breakup with a toxic narcissist who I got a kid with. I'm hunting because I have to, but I find it difficult to hunt for a job I know I will not be good at, but the pressure and guilt tripping of my ex on me just leaves me mad at myself every day. I just rant about my poor situation in every comment section lately (not every really but...) on MBTI/psychological YT videos, because all of this I'm going through is way too much for me... I'm happy to see sometimes that someone reply to my comments so I don't feel as fucked up as I really am.

@@suki5048 Me too, I'm an architecture student but didn't pass one project at the semester so I end up with a one semester gap and then with this one project again at the next semester. I just push myself to find an architecture office where someone get me and give me a part-time job so I can at the same time work, do my engineers degree project (which is a fucking ambitious one haha) and do my chores and see with my son. That sounds a lot when I even read that and write here. But well I actually ranted in the comment before why I do this

@@Paprokh education at this level is difficult with a child, I know because I had friends and colleagues during PhD who had little children, but then they had a partner they were raising the child with or family support. In your case since the partner is not part of the equation, perhaps friends or family could help monetarily or otherwise for the time being. It is essential that you focus strongly on your degrees and education so that once done you will land up a great paying job. Look for support from your near and dear ones. I know it's difficult but it'll definitely come through ✌️

INTP: 44yrs old. First job(s), working for entrepreneur parent's family businesses. First non-family job: aunt worked at a place that was hiring and referred me. (quit this job after 3 years, and part time turned into over time - went back to family business(s)) Second non-family job: someone I knew sorta needed part-time work in a warehouse, which I could do once in a while. (started out very sporadic, eventually turned into a part time job, then I became warehouse manager... but they hired in outside people to start managing, and I disagreed with some of their decisions, and sorta got my authority undermined by the new hire anyway, so I wasn't really manager anymore, but not officially, which was more than irritating.) Went into business with a friend for a summer doing lawn care. (hated working in the sun with all the bugs, so that didn't last.) Applied to a job that didn't get back to me for 6 months due to committee-run decision making... During the interim, got a job from that friend's uncle's place of work, that needed some warehouse help. Got hired by the committee-run place, in the mail-room. Apparently, I was only hired because my would-be-boss took my very serious answer about "attaching a resume being redundant" because the online application asked me all the questions that would be on my resume anyway... as humor, and liked my irreverent attitude, as he disliked the formal policies in place. Boss quit. They hired from outside, instead of within (I was the only other person in the department...) Pandemic hit. Place shut down mostly. They moved me to the lawn care department for the summer, promising that I'd get my job back when they reopened in the fall... Never happened. They deleted my old position. An "official" part-time opening became available as a custodian... but it's night work (4am-10am, but I have to get up at 2:30...)... I took the job just to have a job... but it's ruining my health. Applied several times to the front desk at a Gym... got interviewed once for the position, but it keeps getting listed... (got referred there...) All I want is a part-time job that doesn't involve people. (I could have happily worked until retired in that mail-room job.) I live a very modest life. I just want to write my books and program the video games based on them. The job is just a means to an end. Sadly, I live in a mostly rural small town with few jobs that I could put up with. Looking into ways that people who travel in RVs who aren't retired, make their money... since they obviously don't have to go into work at some place.
