My ISTP high school and graduation story here. Not so much the most complaint type myself. In high school I would miss 6 weeks worth of days out of school a year each year and still pass. I would take a summer vocational class each summer since the 9th grade and not miss a day of it. I graduated with way more hours of credits than any of my peers. That's even after retaking 5 required English classes I flunked in oder to have the required minimum English credit hours. The crazy thing is I signed up to retake all 5 English classes in one summer school session. I never had an official senior year but still graduated. I skipped out on the cap and gown graduation day ceremony. My school peers and siblings went to their's. My thoughts were what's the big deal, graduating high school isn't any great feat of acomplishment. For some I guess it could be. The funny thing is my older sister worried and study hard to graduate and younger brother struggled getting through high school to graduation. They had graduation parties afterwards. For me there was no party celebration. For graduation my parents gave me an old car that needed some repairs and engine that needed rebuilding. I was humble and content, a good DIY project. Perfect graduation gift for this ISTP. Jealous siblings later complained I got a car for graduation. (siblings forgot they received dept release or cash in lieu of value of condition of the old car) A car that needed serious repairs they couldn't afford to pay or fix themselves at the time. A humble ISTP life.

Same, though in the end I would flunk the boring classes on purpose by not showing up so I could game the summer school system. Honestly the INTP one was probably something an INTP would just think about at anytime - not just the last day of school. I would say an INTPs school experience might be a more reserved version of the ENTP. E.g “No one cares about anything worth knowing. I have to dumb down my answers to fit in or the eyes glaze over. I can’t wait to be around people who care about thinking - they say college is better.“ So on the last day of class it may be more relief that you don’t have to engage the Fe inferior to try to “fit” in. And then College : Sensory / concept overload, you have to learn to focus on the class or get left behind.

The INTP's prediction about where the students is 100% true for my school. I used my INTJ skills to read, getting fixated on what I read, and sharpen knowledge during the Summer Slide.

As an ISTP, I relate to this so much. First of all, why do I need to go to school if nothing interesting is happening that day? The class is easy enough to just learn week of studies in one or two hours. The tempo of the classes is waaaay too slow and boring. Every morning I woke up thinking about what subjects I have that day and then decide if I should go or if it's not worth it that day. A-student still. Yet somehow, SOMEHOW FOR NO VALID REASON!!! I had to go for extra classes because of my absence. That makes NO SENSE at all. Why do i have to suffer extra boring hours instead of those idiots who got F on their tests.

I’m a bit late but if I never transferred into the honors class (basically skipping a grade), life would’ve been so easy it feels all like wasted time. Fortunately, the honors class is giving enough of a challenge to be good, and I’m getting into a really good school later.
