The most unrealistic part of the INFP one is the talking on the phone to ask for help, I would just suffer because bothering employees is dreadful, but I do always forget everything when I leave the house, once I didn't bring any warm clothes during a trip to a very cold place(I didn't know it would be cold, leave alone THAT cold), so I just stole my dad's coat and had my feet freezing on flipflops. One of the best trips of my life tho.

loved the intp in this one! i'm ngl i get a bit frustrated w the videos where it's only the social awkwardness that gets played up, so i love it whenever mbti creators also play w our other traits! i can tell ur always looking to branch out or find creative interpretations and thats y ur videos are never too repetitive, love them:) (also, if van gogh rly did paint 900 paintings in 10 years, then that's one painting every 4 days which seems like quite an intense rhythm but i assume there were some periods when he was painting multiple a day so rly that evens out to a regular if admirable number - especially some of his stays at the mental asylum, he has so many pictures of the same tree that i wouldn't be surprised if he'd just gone and painted it every single day)

Really, INTPs go through hotels (and any place in the world) noticing either nothing at all (when pondering fantasy land in their minds), or, when they are present in reality, they notice all the things badly done: unpractical things, bad design, badly designed processes, etc etc. We are extremely critical, i.e. see all suboptimal things all the time. That's why I prefer pondering fantasy land most of the time.

ISTP - can't say I've ever taken a sleeping bag to a hotel, lol - no way I would sleep on a hotel floor - can't imagine the biosphere lurking in that carpet!! haha. I can tell you that we do examine the room for every outlet, device, light switch, and I always check every light to see if its working. Once when I discovered a light out, I unscrewed the bulb and checked it, lol, then called the front desk to get a new one LOL Remember, we ISTPs are all about using our hands, efficiency, tools, and making sure things are right (working correctly). Only if we suspected there was something wrong with the bed would we try to figure out alternative sleeping arrangements, lol.

@@dearkristin The ISTP part was spot-on, even if exaggerated. As a notorious on the floor sleeper I kinda feel called out (it's good for the back!) Also if you think your own sleeping bag on the floor gives you cooties, just imagine what's in that mattress... Another option would've been to take apart, or at least thoroughly inspect, something interesting. Say, the mechanism with which the lamp shade is fixed to the bedside lamp.

Yes. I couldn't relate to INFJ one at all. I thought ENFP one would be totally me if I'm all alone at the hotel. Because I can't stay in the room without electricity. That means if I can't figure out where exactly the switches are after 120078th try, I would have to call someone and I could feel the panic ENFP had while asking for help. Also regarding INTJ one, I can stay without a wi-fi for a couple of days so I can avoid asking for a password and mini heart attack altogether, but eventually I would have to find my courage and make a call for that one too because no way am I wasting my money on hotspot when I can use free WiFi at the hotel. Again I can relate to INTP one too but only if my friend like called me to spend sometime with her beforehand. That way I won't feel guilty dumping her in favour of some interesting book because things aren't decided at that point. But if she is literally at my door, I can't help but go along. Maybe that's what set INFJs apart from INTPs

hmm...as an INFJ, I do exactly what the ISFP did at the very end. If I am staying with other, I am always saying, do we have to go out...we have everything we need right here and the hotel will even clean up after us if we want...? And..I hardly ever fill out review forms while I am staying in the hotel. My INFP daugter would never call the front desk... My INTP son just wants to know the WIFI password and what time he needs to be ready to go if we are leaving the room. My ISTP hubs - unpacks everything and puts it all in drawers etc, checks the outlets, cables and TV to see if it is all working... makes sure we have a good view (though none of us care, but him), then listens to make sure we are not too close to the elavator or noisy neighbors etc. (though, again, none of us care, but him)...Then he will complain to the management if anything is out of place and ask for a more acceptable room if that is the case...(again, no one cares, but him) Good skit - keep them coming..

I love reading this! There are a ton of commonalities between your ISTP husband and my ISTP mother! But I'm an ISFP so I actually appreciate her taking care of all those things, especially the good view and working amenities! But I do cringe when she goes to confront a staff member about our needs, and I'm bracing myself the entire time hoping she'll be polite enough! (She usually is though, but not until the end, whereas I'm desperately trying to appear gracious from the very beginning of that type of interaction). My husband is INFJ and he doesn't care about the view either, but he knows I do, so he's always making sure those things are taken care of for me -- so sweet!! I think my father is an INFJ as well, meaning that just like you and yours, they are an INFJ-ISTP couple! My best female friend, also an INFJ, is married to an ISTP. I find it fascinating observing the different ways that types interact as couples! My husband and I are definitely "sweeter" towards one another (both being feeling types, INFJ-ISFP), but my parents (INFJ-ISTP) are HILARIOUS together and there's definitely obvious comraderie there too! Thanks for sharing a snapshot of your hotel experiences! My husband definitely wouldn't see the point of leaving the room, haha, but I enjoy the adventure! (Especially if there's a pool..) But only for awhile, then I'm super ready to come back to all those pillows and yummy food!!!

@@emilys3638 As an INFJ, I do care about the view if I can afford it of course. I also like to go out exploring. I mean if you are staying at a hotel then obviously you are away from home and would want to explore nearby areas, especially if it's a vacation spot right? . I'm not overly good with directions though, so would like to have a company and a map with a working plan for a long distance endeavour incase I get lost. I don't mind if another person is terrible with directions as well because that means (a) I'm not alone (b) don't gave to ask strangers for directions by myself, therefore would feel less panic-y. we can eventually (hopefully) find our way back to the hotel only to not set my foot out for something daring next time if I dare to go out again.

Hilarious! 😄 Cameron did a great job!👏 The ESTJ running to report the safety hazard reminded me a bit of Trip Advisor reviews - that I no longer bother to read. Literally on the same day you can often find two reviews where one person found the hotel filthy and the staff rude, and another loves them both! I personally love to travel and am uncharacteristically confident when I do, as I feel being a P rather than a J gives me a big home advantage (as it were!) and the ability to embrace the unexpected is luckily the only thing you really need to pack to ensure a great trip.

@@farrex0 Completely relate. I’m the same way with reviews, but even more so with comment sections on KZbin. I love reading people all disagreeing about the same video (at least, when the comment sections aren’t just likeminded people from the same community- which there’s nothing wrong with, of course). That being said, whenever I find a juicy comment section disagreement and it’s full of differing views, I scroll down and press the like button for all the comments because I end up appreciating the entire discussion. It’s so fun to see varying thoughts on the same topic, and it helps that people online tend to speak their minds more than they do in person because they’re not trapped in their homogenous social circles and because there’s no in-person pressure to make a good impression. Overall, it’s a beautiful experience. (I mean, I’m stretching it A LOT though, because inevitably people end up getting angry or disrespectful further down the comment thread, and then I roll my eyes and stop liking the comments, haha.) Still, it’s a nice little break from conversations that revolve around universal agreement on a subject. Half the time, no one really wants to agree at all when they’re online, and it’s really enjoyable to spectate. Also, hello again!! :))

And "lost in the city" doesn't mean necessarily "lost in new place", rather "lost not far away from the usual route / neighbourhood, which got usually ignored, because the thought process was always more interesting to pay attention to rather than surroundings". 😂 I was looking for new produce at the store I usually not shop at and went three times through all their aisles, then decided to ask an employee for help. The produce was right behind me, but on the stand, not on the shelf. 🙈

@@sophiaredwood5825 Well, compared to the time I didn't come home for weeks because I illegally crossed an international border to hit some ski hills with some guys I just met, the house party was an expensive nuisance for them but not scary. They weren't happy with me and I had to help replace the handrail and bannisters, rip up and lay floors/carpet, paint walls, etc... My parents saved harsher punishments for if I nearly got myself or someone else seriously hurt or killed. Talking works better than yelling because I'm good at filtering yelling. My friend's parents worried they would come home from HS pregnant. My parents worried they'd get another call from the hospital, police or the consulate. Some day, I'll be old and possibly even boring. But I'll have the best memories to enjoy. Worth it.
