I (an INTJ) once shocked an ESTP friend of mine when I revealed that I never celebrated my 30th birthday and just went to work like it was any other day. There are so many different situations out there, as well as various cultural practices, so I’m guessing that this person has a very specific perspective on life, and possibly isn’t familiar w/ other people’s practices & values.

INTP here, much closer to fifty than thirty. We all live and die by a hair's breadth, and eventually, we either a) die or b) get old, then die. Human life, both uncertain and doomed at the same time, is a precious thing, not to be stolen or thrown away. Thirty can be a great age. I hope your thirties bring you much joy and fulfillment in your life, and I hope you get the opportunity, decades from now, to look back at your thirties with satisfaction, as a spry centenarian.

First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🌺🥂🎂 I laughed so much at the ISFJ one, but as an otaku manga illustrator, I can't relate. My reaction to turning 30 was making another marathon of the BL Japanese series "Cherry magic! Thirty years of virginity can make you a wizard?!" Spoiler alert. Nope. Still not a wizard. Jokes aside, since I got to this point recently, I still can't really grasp the idea. It's not like anything changed, except paperwork related things. On one side, despite my hobbies, I am mature enough to feel it's fitting, but on the other hand, my lifestyle is more of a child's as, for financial reasons, (my country's economy is a nightmare), I have returned to my family's house after living 5 years on my own... It's difficult to grow this way. And to keep the contradictions going, on the one side I am quite accomplished when it comes to my professions, as I have aced my studies, I have published literally 12 books, I have had my own plays on theatre stage and I work as an illustrator for many books and magazines, but on the other hand, I don't make more than 140 to 200 euro per month, (unless there is a big blast of a book which pays much more but that may happen just 1-3 times per year) so the future scares me, as I won't be able to make it financially on my own. And that's a nightmare for ISFJs... At least I don't wish to marry or have a family, so I don't have this kind of crisis, some other ladies might do at their 30s. Anyways, Happy 30s to Dear Kristin 🌹

In truth, I stopped keeping track of how old I was at some point during my 28th year. No, I'm not going around telling people I'm 28. I'm telling people who ask me how old I am to give me a second to do some math because I don't care enough to remember. It changes every year, so what's the point? If it's really important to you, I'll tell you if you give me a second. And if it's not that important, we can get back to whatever it was we were doing before you decided to ask me about my age for some reason.

Happy birthday, Kristin. The white dress at the end was a great fashion choice for you because of its combination of simplicity and boldness. Also, I felt about the same way about turning 21 that the INTJ in the video felt about turning 30. I (INTJ) was more excited about food and gifts than partying until my significant other (probably ESFJ) showed up. Being as old as my mind was a nice side effect.
