Awesome. I appreciate your thoughts and observations on the RK 37 and the grapple. Impressive machine. If only it had a mid mount PTO option I think it might be the perfect Compact. I believe the closest RK that sell them is 5 hours away from my location in the thumb of Michigan. Bummer. If they offer them up here, they will sell them as fast as they can make them.

Do you guys happen to have the backhoe attachment for this? I was reading up on these a bit and to my surprise the RK37 looks to have more breakout force than the RK55 backhoe. I saw you did a video digging some stumps out with the 55 and was just curious how they compared. Thanks

Mike, Norwood Sawmills has a free app for your cell phone that gives you board feet of a log. It also can give you the weight of a log. Having trouble getting the specs on the Top Dog Grapple and the different sizes available. Any help would be appreciated. I have been to the RK stores and they are no help.

@DeNifty16 жыл бұрын
How would your Kubota do with that grapple with the same log capacity? I am about to pull the trigger on a L3901 and the stuff I hear about capacity and the weight of the grapple leads me to wonder if I would be okay with the L3901. I like that RK but there isn't a deal that is close enough for when I deal with servicing.
@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans6 жыл бұрын
The 3901 is a good tractor, I have a lot of seat time on one but can say from experience it wouldn't lift near the weight that this 37 does,
@DeNifty16 жыл бұрын
The biggest reason I lean to the Kabota is dealer location and your test was probably the max thing I would ever do with it. Do you think the L4701 would do it no issue? Sometimes the specs around these different tractors confuse me more than anything especially when they seem comparable and I trust a salesperson as far as I can throw him.
@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans6 жыл бұрын
Yes I think the 4701 would do it, you are right about specs, the more you read the more you get confused lol
