I really like how your organization systems are not bought kits; all matchy matchy. Your look is timeless, and to me it seems more accessable than spending thousands at the container store or somewhere similar. Thank you for all of the inspiration.

You are so lovely and have a darling home. I love that your children have books everywhere. I just spent the afternoon in hospital emergency care and I was the only one there with a book. a habit of a life time (grab a book) and my own (grown) children are just the same. If you have a book then you are never alone.

Way back on 2011, we took our 3 middle school aged kids to an all inclusive resort in Mexico,... I remember a mother of kids similar in ages to mine, coming up to our family... we were all on loungers, beside the pool, with books, READing... which is normal in our family... she mentioned how nice it was to see a family reading books, as none of her family did...and how all She wanted to do, was sit by the pool and read as well! Our kids saw my hubs and me, with books and enjoying reading... I guess we passed that love on to our own children!

Your house is so lovely and welcoming. I always think its so funny how Americans always refer to their homes and rooms as ‘small’ etc. when in reality they are normal sized esp compared with the rest of the world, and the rest of American homes are ridiculously large. Esp your bedroom. It is perfect sized as a master bedroom, no extra space needed. I have no idea why people need these huge master bedrooms! Just more space to fill with furniture that is rarely used!

Still so much to do, but definitely starting to notice things are better because when I do my weekly cleaning in the rooms it doesn’t take as long because I’m not having to pick up and put as many things away as I used to.

Having a finished basement with a full bathroom is a game changer for sure, for if you want to stay in your sweet home, along with all your kids indefinately!,...who will soon be teenagers, and want to be downstairs... instead of with you in the kitchen, upstairs!
