Great picking Bill. I like to see you overcome and adapt to unusual situations like this. Have a great holiday sir.

A blob of weld or brass on the tip of the key then tidy it up and you have a slightly longer tip to tension with. Great open.

0:27 You can clearly see another pin in the lower left corner of the lock, Bill.😉 And at 0:30, maybe one in the lower right corner too?

Yep, watching in HD @ 60fps is a luxury I don't have while picking. I'm watching through a 2" LCD panel on the back of the camera.😣

It would be nice to see you take these old lever things apart, just to see how well or complex they are made!
@hihu72005 жыл бұрын
It is easy to look up the patents for the lock. It has diagrams, descriptions of how it works, and what part does what. Google has a patent search option. It is awesome.
@pev_5 жыл бұрын
I don't want to look at a blueprint since I'm not trying to make this lock. It is always nicer to see things in practice in a video. And Bill has taken many locks apart, it is part of his MO :)
@gullreefclub5 жыл бұрын
pev - If you want to see how a lever locks functions take a gander at Andy Mac’s channel because he is the man that Bill has been getting his lever-lock picks from and regardless of what that lever lock might look on the outside it going to work the same way on the inside.
@MichaelBerthelsen5 жыл бұрын
@@pev_ If you buy him one, send it, and explicitly tell him to take it apart, I'm sure Bill'll be happy to oblige, but if it's a keeper gift, or something to return, then he can't really go around destroying it.
@pev_5 жыл бұрын
Cheez, people! It was just a suggestion. I'm not a complete idiot. Of course I could research lever locks elsewhere if I really wanted to. And of course Bill ultimately does what he wants.
