Thank you! We have definitely been getting blitzed with cold weather here but still no snow for the kiddos. It’s been crazy on our sinuses though (70 one day and below freezing the next). Hope you and your family are staying warm and healthy!🤗

Mmmmmm, which one is my favorite? I have really been hankering for dumplings/potstickers and authentic ramen soup so I think that potsticker soup wins and I will definitely be making it. Good idea compiling some of your previous soup recipes. I will definitely save this to a YT playlist. Maybe you have enough dairy-free recipes to do a compilation of them? Doc recently suggested I lay off cows' milk products because it seems to be triggering my Hashimotos. So I am always looking for a good dairy-free recipe.... I think I can eat sheeps and goat cheese. This video definitely has some great ideas for me. Thanks, and Happy New Year!
@SuzAndTheCrew3 жыл бұрын
I will definitely do a dairy-free one, Olivia! I’ve been cutting back on beef and dairy as well. I love goat and sheep cheese! I wonder where they fall on the “dairy scale.” 🤔 Pot stickers were always one of my all-time favorite foods, both steamed and fried. This soup definitely helps my cravings for those. Hope you are having a GREAT start to your New Year!🤗

Any reason you didn't leave the garlic and ginger in the potsticker soup? Would it have been too overpowering? Just curious.

Do you think that sausage kale soup could be done without cauliflower and use radish instead?
@SuzAndTheCrew3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I’ve been kicking around making a radish based soup. For me, I wouldn’t like it with just radish because of the distinct taste but if you are a radish fan (my mother def was) you would probably love it!
@tamijoysisemore6593 жыл бұрын
@@SuzAndTheCrew have you had cooked radish? I hate radishes but I will eat them cooked in with a roast, with chicken and in broth. Also I’ve used daikon radish to make augratin type “potatoes “ you boil them till tender in broth and then drain and put together the Augratin in your dish and bake. Delicious, we were shocked lol

Here’s a link for the specific one I use ( amzn.to/2NJ7ec5 associate link). So many folks have told me that they have found them for even less than five bucks at their local dollar stores. Can’t vouch for the sturdiness of the other brands, but I have used this one constantly for a few years now and it’s super sturdy!

I noticed in your video you called for two 10 oz bags of chopped up cabbage or you can slice up the head of cabbage. When I sliced up my head of cabbage and weighed it it came to about 52 oz. I'm just curious if it's really that interchangeable. 🤔
@SuzAndTheCrew2 жыл бұрын
I usually use a smaller head of cabbage but still have extra left over that I incorporate into a different recipe or throw in the freezer.

Not to sound stupid but do you eat the outside of the lemon?
@SuzAndTheCrew3 жыл бұрын
Not stupid at all; I don’t unless I’m grating the rind to use as zest in a lemon recipe, but when it’s sliced lemon I just use it for flavor and then stick it to the side.

What don't you tell us the carbs in your meal at the end upon serving?

Full sodium beef broth is better than low sodium, because the keto diet can result in electrolyte wasting and water loss. It’s important to remain well hydrated, and to watch electrolyte balance. An electrolyte drink is recommended on this diet. And being unafraid to add salt to one’s food is also a good idea. Replenishes sodium that has lost a result of the ketogenic nutritional approach. It’s an excellent diet, that’s simply a biological reality.
