Bonemass is a pain to deal with, honestly all the bosses kinda are? Like I feel like the combat + boss stuff doesn’t quite feel right. But you can beat him! Just make potions, and maybe ice arrows if you need to. Make sure to upgrade your gear as well.

My main problem was the ore grind. Since they were so heavy, but made so little items and couldn't go through portals, getting them became a pain so everyone in my group got tired of it. The beginning was really fun though. As far as I know, some of the most popular mods for the game modify the ore limitations, since it's the biggest reason people stop playing and not being able to go through portals as ore, but being fine once made into something just seemed arbitrary.
