Came late to this channel but just wanted to chime in - this is how all houses should be built; US/CAN builders, pay close attention. In my opinion, this should be the minimum standard of building for all new houses anywhere. Fantastic attention to detail, meticulous planning, talented and efficient execution topped with most excellent choice in music. Well done, Grgur and hope you continue making these excellent videos. Veliki pozdrav iz Kanade, samo tako naprijed!

In the US, builders are still building huge stick built with a low consideration for passive energy in the design, we call them McMansions after MacDolands clone designs. Your Architect seems to be very thorough and your build team very accomplished. I hope this stands as inspiration in the US to build smarter. Truly lovely to watch.

How does one remodel?
@markkillion89805 ай бұрын
@@corkjv It would be difficult to take small sections out or gain access to cavities and plenum spaces. Changing a door’s position or opening up a wall would be very difficult if not impossible. That concern has been voiced about ICF houses here in the US. In other words, what is behind a finish element is not simple wood framing. It may very well be steel reinforced concrete.
@jm0365 ай бұрын
@@markkillion8980 If you are changing something in the brick it is not that hard just messy and takes more time. If you want to change something and run into reinforced concrete, forget about it because thats likely structural.

Pozdrav.

@DanKoning7777 ай бұрын
@@orion7326 // Is it well built; sure, but it's also much more expensive-it explains why almost 50% of the people in both France and England rent. They simply cannot afford to have a new house built, or build it themselves [like here], or buy an existing house. According to the website Expatistan, the cost of living in France [as of 4/24], is approx 24% cheaper than in the U.S., yet people must still rent due to the high cost of building like this. So, there is a trade off. By Gods grace I've been in my 50 yr. old "U.S. built tinder box" for 42 yrs without issue. Have a good day.

:) I wish you were right hehe.. I was running a few tests during the last couple of weeks. I tried a 2kw radiator over night during -3° and it got it up to 10° when I came in the morning. Also on a sunny day it got the temperature up to 12° while it was around 0° outside without any additional heating. I should leave the heater on for a week or so to get better results because all the walls are still cold and have a lot of mass that soaks up the energy. All in all, it looks promising:)

@sqnhunter6 ай бұрын
What makes Saudi construction more real construction than anyone else´s?? ... I am an Architect and built on 5 different continents...and Saudi architecture...like this...didn´t impress me...very low standards compared to most of the world. I am currently in the Americas and the most stringent building codes with the most intense government inspection policies that I have seen anywhere, was in Australia. Whole different sub world in building in Saudi except for external contractors works which the government does not involve itself in so much.
