No exaggeration…Alfie looks at Zoe in such a special way since they announced her pregnancy. In this video when she’s talking and he’s looking at her and listening…the WAY he looks at her is amazing. So happy for their little family 😊

I’m recovering from surgery. I’ve been a mom since 2001. I just have a son. I can’t believe he’s almost 22. I divorced his dad when he was just turning 3 and it was just us two. I can’t believe I did it by myself and he’s now a productive man with his own life. I’m proud of him. He’s left handed and I’m not. Teaching him about throwing and catching and all of that was easy. Tying his shoes was the biggest obstacle for me. I got a childrens book at the library and it took me 3 weeks and lots of videos to teach him because it was backwards for me. We did it together though. It goes by so fast.

We have an 18 month old daughter too and my husband and I were just talking about how the tiredness isn’t what we anticipated. I always thought parents were tired because their kids didn’t sleep well, but we lucked out with a great sleeper and we’re still tired. It’s just always being “on”

My youngest daughter who is about to turn 2 fell asleep on my chest for the first time since she was a newborn the other day and it made me realise how much I missed those sleepy chest cuddles like you were saying 🥹 I also agree with Zoe when she said she would want to go back in time to when Ottie was a newborn but without postpartum. I would do this with both my girls in a heart beat if I could because my recoveries were brutal and I definitely didn’t get to enjoy them being tiny newborns as much I wanted to because of the pain/recovery/PPA. Being a parent has also made me realise how fast time goes and no matter what we have to enjoy every moment, even the hard ones. Love you guys and Ottie is just so gorgeous 💗💗

Gosh Alfie.... It's been long since i started follwing your and zoe's contents and because of that to this day i perceived you as the exact same person i loved watching all those years ago. You and Zoe having Ottlie did not change that perception whatsoever and just then in the video you said "I'm gonna be biased because I'm her dad" and something about that very sentence absolutely changed the way i perceive you completely. You're a dad! A bloody great one at that though. Just thought that you saying to be her dad changed everything but also nothing; felt like it flippped a switch in my brain. if that makes sense lol. Love Ottlie and dontcha worry, you're gonna be a cool one!!

Maybe 6 vlogs ago, you talked about the 30 second rule you read about. If you can do it in 30 seconds, do it now. I had a similar kind of rule, but it was more like don’t be lazy, just do it. Adopting your phrasing has been so helpful- less negative on myself, more positive. I feel more accomplished getting the little things done. Thank you for that, it’s improved my life.
