i think cursed eye is the reason behind remote detonator's bug. It spawns 2 extra crosshairs at once with the original , and the extra 2 probably aren't controlled by remote detonater/

Everytime I find epic feetus/marked/ludovico/analog stick/spear of destiny. I thank you for making the mouse control video, changing a 0 to a 1 can make a tier 1 item an OP tier 4. And can make epic feetus a free win.

I love this mod! I’ve always wanted Epic Fetus to have some more love with synergies. I actually had some ideas for the mod after watching so here are a couple of things: Terra/Small Rock - Rockets now create a shockwave that span out to a 3 tile radius. They deal 3x your damage and can destroy the environment Holy Light - Rockets now have a chance to create light beams in a 2 tile radius. The beams deal the usual 4x damage but can hit an enemy multiple times Flat Stone - Rockets now bounce 3 times before disappearing. The bouncing rocket will follow the crosshairs until the rocket has fully detonated. The damage of the rocket will decrease with each bounce (100%, 50%, 25%)

If i had to guess, number 1 is overriding the detonator timer, and causing them to fall quickly and regularly.

Honestly the My Reflection one isn't bad. It doesn't look hard to move the crosshair away from Isaac, and having it follow him is pretty convenient for getting enemies that chase the player down. Why multitask on aiming the rocket while moving when you can tap the fire key and just move away from the enemies to let them catch the rocket.

0:08 I agree for most dlcs but I think that spot has been overtaken by Spirit Sword in repentance. I don't know the exact number of synergies each item has, but it takes some massive balls (of steel) to override brimstone without synergy, and replacing the infinite range with almost exclusively short range damage does not help it at all. Glad that both items get their own synergy mod now tho! You better take notes, Kilburn

The thing is, spirit sword literally had more synergies in antibirth, this is actually fully a problem of the repentance devs. Spirit sword + brim used to do a brim beam when you charged up the swing and let go

I had an idea for an Epic Fetus rework. Make the crosshair work like the Marked one, active when you press a tear button, but have it so the missiles don't drop until you press the bomb button (which does not drop any bombs at your feet while the crosshair is active). Pressing the switch button will remove the crosshair, like with Marked, and allow Isaac to plant bombs again. I feel this removes the biggest problem with Epic Fetus - there's a solid couple of seconds at the start of every room where you can't deal damage, as you're waiting for the missile to drop. Also would feel better to control, with the player having a lot more say as to where and when the missiles drop.

Although right as I was watching it, I got the idea of a rework of Epic Fetus, haha; the point is to make it more amenable to synergies Let me make it clear that these are just quick thoughts, not pretending to be something more Anyway: The Epic Fetus would have two new modifiers - spread and range-dependent radius (range statistics affect the basic radius). By default, the rocket has a slightly larger radius than now with high accuracy and a slightly lower fall speed. Direct projectile hits do the most damage + slightly less blast damage to the area. Naturally, a shot speed will affect both the main fire and the extra mini-rockets (mini-rockets always have a minimal explosion radius, unless otherwise indicated, more on this later) EF + Cricket's Body - when the target is hit, 4 high-precision mini-rockets with a short range are separated from the main projectile EF + Haemolacria - large rocket with a wide kill radius. When the target is hit, after a short time period launches a series of random, low-precision projectiles in the kill radius EF + Tech X - an common rocket with a giant kill radius. After the explosion it zoned the entire area with lasers that does intermittent damage EF + Brimstone - an common rocket with a middle kill radius. After the explosion it zoned the area with a brimstone ring EF + Cursed eye - an common rocket and kill radius. As charging consistently increases the explosion radius, up to five times, but there is always one rocket. And yes, it still teleports you after receiving damage with incomplete charge ;) EF + TL - a marker is missing. Small controlled missile flying over obstacles

maybe the whole crosshair mechanic should be just removed when you have doctor fetus, so it ends up acting like haemolacria shots with some special items (like chocolate milk), then you can launch the rocket instead like a haemo tear

in the idea how stats effect the epic fetus (i guess i could relate to creator) fire rate: how quickly the rockets fall (less time) at 15 fire rate you constantly fire rockets at mark (rocket falls one second after being shot, keeps firing until new room is entered) i think this way it is better since soy milk really looks like dr.fetus and eye of occult synergy. range: higher range increases the time before rockets fall shot speed: faster mark speed tear size: larger tear size increases blast radius or vise versa
