Can we appreciate just how creative this man is?? HAVE to try my favs: Lobster bisque, French onion, Cheddar broccoli, oh man THE CREAM OF MUSHROOM, clam chowder all day baby, egg drop soup, beef stew with pasta looks absolutely AMAZING! But of course I do my annual gumbo every New Year for friends and family. Chef, all looks delicious! ❤

@Poor Man's Gourmet Kitchen I do sausage, chicken and seafood gumbo! Yes definitely shrimp and crab. I like to do the Dungeness crabs instead of the traditional blue gumbo crabs. The Dungeness usually goes on sale during the holidays and they soak up the gumbo just as good as the blue crabs but have way more meat!

Sounds great. The last recipe I was going to film, before I decided to throw in the towel, was Khoa Soi. It's a a Thai Noodle dish made with curry and braised beef or chicken. Maybe you saw the post I shared a few months ago. 😊

My mom used to make that soup when I was young. Wow, you just took me back. 🍻

@@PMGK 8 of us growing up. We also ate a lot of pinto bean soup and Mom would put smoked Hocks in them two. There's not a whole lot of meat on them just so much good flavor. Then of course we had our fried potatoes and we always had cornbread,we ate good growing up. And then my mom always made dessert because my dad had a sweet tooth and one of the things that she made was homemade peach cobbler or raspberry cobbler.

Mmm, sounds good. My mom did the same thing, corn bread and all but, unfortunately, she wasn't as good of cook as much as she loved cooking. Fortunately, I was trained by a professional that whipped my pallet into shape. I also make a mean Peach Cobbler. 😜 🍻

For me, Ramen is something entirely different. That's why I didn't add any recipes to this compilation but out of all of these recipes, I think I make french onion soup the most; for myself that is. 😊

When I lived in denver, there was a restaurant that I visited so frequently that was a cabin style setting that overlooked the valley from the mountainside. I always sat at the bar and the young man tending it knew to put in an order of their five onion French onion soup, when he saw me walk in the door. Also a tall fat tire beer and a crowned Coke would be waiting at the counter, by the time I sat down, and the first words that always came out of his mouth were, "The usual?" Which meant, an order of all I could eat King Crab legs. 😋 🍻

@@PMGK I think my 2 favorites are any seafood soup in general or a good beef vegetable stew. I know ramen is different and semi simple but you cannot deny the flavor of a quality broth that's been slow cooked.
