Omg! I grew up to these guys! Right here in Fort Smith, Arkansas! Now in sharing them with my kids! I loved going to their shows out at Harry E. Kelly park. At 41, I still LOVE this music!

I heard this song sometime in between 1997-2002....and I can still say the Roman numerals to this date! Glad I found this gem to make sure I didn't lose my touch!

I was teaching my kids about Roman Numerals and this song came to mind. It was fun to sing along and remember it still from years ago. Thanks for posting!!

🏆 One of our favorites on xm kids maaany moons ago. Its been 9 years, and I still remember listening to this song when my mathy twin sons were kids- they had placemats with roman numerals and loved that bit, but the entire song always cracked them (us) up ❤️👏👏👏

I remember seeing these guys in...what was it? The late '90s in King of Prussia, PA, I think. Now in our mid-thirties, my sister and I can still count in Roman Numerals! XD

On a studio version, from their album "Mine!", they joke about a flat tire after they do the odd numbers. And every time I hear the "1 wheels on a big rig" I think it sounds like something you might see at a circus or something. "Come one, come all and see the worlds only unirig! And pi would be 5.72957795131 wheels on a big rig. Others they could have done: Roman numerals backwards: (Heywood Banks did this on his later versions.) XVIII, XVII, XVI, XV, XIV, XIII, XII, XI, I, IX, IIIV, IIV, IV, V, VI, III, II, I (Although I think Roman numerals backwards would actually be this. "IIIVX IIVX IVX VX VIX IIIX IIX IX X XI IIIV IIV IV V VI III II I",like saying the alphabet backwards) Multiply the wheels by two: Oh there's 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 wheels on a big rig. one of my favorite songs to listen to when i was a kid listening to Radio AAHS! :P the only thing i never understood is that he says he is going to divide the wheels on a big rig by pi...but then he just starts to list the numbers of pi (though he got it incorrect). shouldn't he be singing 5.7295779513 (18/pi)?

You'll have fewer if you do it in duodecimal, though. Well, alright then. Oh, there's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ⵒ Ɛ 10... Is that how it's pronounced, "doh"? So do one, do two, do three, do four, do five, do six wheels on a big rig, and they're rollin' rollin' rollin', rollin' rollin' rollin'. Because do is short for dozen, so that's a dozen and a half of rubber doughnuts.

While the song is catchy they did not do what they said he said "I will know divide the number of wheels of a big rig(18) by pi(π) to its 10 place somewhere over the rainbow" when you divide the number of wheels on a big rig by pi, you get 5.72957795131 etc.. they started with 3.14 which is the start of pi but they dont even finish pi right by saying 3.1415932562712 pi is 3.1415926535897 etc. This has always frustrated me and If I am thinking about this wrong and they are using some other equation someone please tell me but like WHY NOT DO IT RIGHT.
