How fun riding in an Indy Car! For my b-day I drove a NASCAR. For another b-day I drove a Ferrari 488 Pista on a road track near Vegas where I reached 137 mph on the straightaway. So much fun!

OMG is right! That race experience is so cool! My dad used to take my sister and I to the track for practice back in the late 1960’s. I have fond memories of that place. Mike Matisko would love that.

Duanes turns 65 in November. So I booked the last ride for the year in late October. We used to live in Indy while he pastored there and we always went to time trials. I even while working in LD at one of the hospitals labored Indy driver, Scott Goodyear's wife. We have history there. He is so excited. Thanks for sharing. We had never thought of it. I will be doing a video on it as well. Great idea. Deana

How fun to watch that! I'm a life long central Indiana resident and attended a few races years ago. Before "electronics", my dad was a lap counter - watching one car through the whole race and flipping over the lap number each time his car went by. Enjoy your videos and adventures!

The Indy Car Experience is a bucket list item. It is a little pricey, but it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience what it is like on the Indy 500 track.

As a Hoosier who has lived most of my life--except when I was serving for Uncle Sam--within less than an hour of Indy I have been to the track for various events since I was in junior high and I REALLY want to do what you just did. Thanks for the comment. It was quite a thrill being on the Indy Motor Speedway. I can’t imagine the real drivers doing this for 3 hours at over 200 mph with cars all around!!!
