100k salary doesn’t make you rich, it makes you comfortable but until you start generating income from your wealth and not time put into work, you are not rich. Rich is millions in the bank/invested in assets A well paid professional on 100k gets taxed the same rate on their labour as a tradesman - they are simply high paid workers. Rich in comparison perhaps but not rich when you look at the full spectrum of wealth
